Our walking tour with Alfred in mid September was excellent! We learned so much about York and its history. We covered a lot of ground moving around the city. Also, we learned that Alfred is a fan of Premier League soccer which my husband and son are as well so they had a great time talking about football! Alfred met us at our hotel and took us on a fabulous walking tour around old York town. Alfred was delightful and very knowledgeable. He also had a knack of relating the history to current times. This is the best tour we have ever taken. Alfred was truly a delight and a gem. He is a wealth of information and history buff. Taking a private tour with him provided the opportunity to chat about so much history, linger at places, and have every question answered so thoughtfully.
