The tour offers an insight into the history, architecture, culinary and daily Viennese life. Your walk will begin at our meeting point at the Albertinaplatz, close by the Opera. From there, your guide will take you to through the hidden alleyways in the eldest part of the city, where Mozart and Beethoven used to live. Touch history in its original locations! Continue the walk to the St. Stephen's Cathedral, and from there travel back to the imperial times crossing the courtyards of the Hofburg Imperial Palace. There, hear about life, gossip and anecdotes about the Habsburg imperial family, as well as about Austria’s darkest times in the 20th century. The tour will finish close by the Vienna State Opera. This is a small group tour with max.6 persons on tour.

Excellent small group tour. Very easy to locate the meeting spot and headsets were used which is very helpful. Dieter was our guide and he was knowledgeable, paced the tour well, answered questions, stopped along the way if anyone needed water or a bathroom. Great tour overall, highly recommend.
This is the easiest review I've written. Great tour with a great guide. Michael was knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. His style was conversational and it was like touring with a friend. This was our first visit to Vienna and this was a great introduction to the city enabling us to decide what to see in more detail. Based on our experience, I would not hesitate about booking with this company.
This walking tour was so much more than we have experienced on similar tours on our travels. Our guide, Eddie, was extremely knowledgeable, humorous and shared with us so many interesting things about what we were seeing that made our time with him fly by. I highly recommend this chance to get a real sense of Vienna, its history and its culture.

Vienna in January is COLD! Outside of the obvious weather obstacles, our tour-guide Billy was phenomenal! She met us promptly at our hotel, provided ear pieces so we could clearly hear her as we walk the city without needing to raise her voice and blend in. We walked for three hours around many of the most important sights of central Vienna, popping into buildings periodically to thaw. She was very well informed and had been such a guide for over 20 years. She was very kind, flexible and approachable. In my view, this was the best way to experience Vienna with limited time!
