Itinerary
15 min
Pick up is not included. We depart from the Palapa Bar dock, and we meet there 15 minutes before departure. Then the ride to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve takes 45 minutes, while you lay down on comfortable cushions enjoying the ocean, the views and the sunshine, accompanied by drinks and music.
Hol Chan Marine Reserve
Admission included60 min
Hol Chan is Mayan for "little channel" and is a natural break in the reef, which has always been a very productive fishing area with abundant marine life. It is open to the sea beyond the reef, so allows marine creatures to travel from the outside of the reef to the inside and vice versa. It became the first marine reserve in the entire country of Belize back in 1987 and this have led to the species to re-generate and the corals of growing unharmed. This snorkeling area has the greatest variety of marine life and coral, compared to being an "underwater zoo" - you have the chance to see all kinds of corals, fishes and even sea turtles! Over 160 species of fish and forty types of coral have been recorded in the area. The snorkeling here is minimum 45 minutes.
Shark Ray Alley
Admission included20 min
The story behind Shark Ray Alley is that in all times, due to its position close to the channel to go outside the protecting barrier reef for fishing, it was the point where the local fishermen came in with their catch and started cleaning it - throwing the head, etc into the water. This converted it a natural habit for the marine life such as nurse sharks and sting-rays that associate the sound of an engine to food. The water is shallow and transparent and you will see the nurse-sharks and sting-rays on the surface, meaning that even if you don't get in to the water you can enjoy it from the boat as well! The nurse-sharks and sting-rays eventually swim away, but the stop is minimum 20 minutes.
Caye Caulker
60 min
Caye Caulker is just how you imagine an authentic Caribbean Island and a nice contrast to the more developed Ambergris Caye. Since the 1960's tourism has slowly grown on the island, but it has kept its quiet laid-back atmosphere, with the motto "Go Slow". We stop by the famous “the Split”, from where you can stroll off to explore the village.

An unforgettable experience in Belize!
This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Belize. We spent around six hours on the tour, and the entire experience was amazing from beginning to end.
We snorkeled along the coral reef and had the opportunity to swim surrounded by so much marine life. We saw tons of colorful fish, barracudas, and many other species throughout the day. One of the most incredible moments was getting to swim near manatees, which made the experience even more special.
Swimming with the nurse sharks was another unforgettable part of the tour! Being in the water surrounded by them was such a unique experience and definitely something we will always remember.
The food provided during the tour was delicious, and the staff was absolutely incredible — friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone had a great time throughout the day.
We finished the tour with a stop at Caye Caulker, where we had some time to walk around and explore the island. Since we visited during the low season, it was very quiet and there weren’t many people around, but we still enjoyed getting to experience the island.
Overall, this was a fantastic tour and an unforgettable experience. Between the coral reef, the incredible marine life, swimming with nurse sharks and manatees, the delicious food, and the amazing staff, we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Highly recommended!

Best snorkeling, well worth it.
Capt Charlie, Anna, and Ray were amazing! They were helpful and attentive. Ray guided our snorkeling experience and he seemed just as excited to spot the sealife as we were! The food was superb. The entire experience was the best snorkeling experience that I have ever had.

Best tour ever
This guided tour was the best I’ve been on. The crew on this boat was amazing. Ana, Charlie and Jose were very nice and attentive. They gave great directions and kept us laughing the whole time. Ana did a great job during the snorkeling. She took care of my wife (who was scared) and made sure she was safe the whole time while still showing us the reef and all its wildlife. The food served was great and plentiful. I had seconds of both meals. It was so delicious. The drinks never stopped coming but be careful. This tour was worth every penny. On the way back we were able to see the beautiful sun set. You will not be disappointed.

Five Stars isn’t enough!! A++++
Do yourself a favor and book with Miss Anna and her crew. You will not regret it!
We did the full day tour, and it was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Belize. From the moment we stepped on the boat, Miss Anna, Rey, Captain Jose, and the entire crew made us feel right at home. Their hospitality was exceptional, and by the end of the day it felt like we had spent the day with friends.
Sailing the beautiful waters of Belize, snorkeling, seeing the incredible wildlife, and taking in everything this amazing country has to offer made for an unforgettable day. The attention to detail was evident in everything they did.
The drinks never stopped flowing, with plenty of alcoholic and nonalcoholic options, and the food was outstanding. Lunch was a full, delicious meal, not just a snack. After a full day on the water, they welcomed us back on board with fresh ceviche, more drinks, and the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the ride back to the island. It was such a thoughtful touch and the perfect ending to an incredible day.
The sunset cruise back to the island was absolutely breathtaking. It was, without question, one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. Sitting on the boat with great music, amazing people, delicious food, and that view is a memory I will cherish forever.
I’ve been on another boat tour in Belize before, and this experience far exceeded our expectations. The crew was fun, engaging, professional, and genuinely cared that everyone had an amazing time.
Thank you, Miss Anna, Rey, Captain Jose, and the entire crew for giving us a day we’ll never forget. We’ll be talking about this experience for a very long time.

An Unforgettable Day on the Water with Belize Catamaran
We had an absolutely incredible adventure on the snorkeling and sunset cruise with Belize Catamaran in San Pedro! From the moment we stepped aboard, Charlie, Anna, and Ray made sure the day was nothing short of fantastic. They were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about sharing the best of a Belize experience.
We snorkeled at two completely different spots, each offering something unique - especially Shark Alley where we had an in-the-water close-up view of nurse sharks. It was amazing to see such a variety of marine life in one trip. All the gear was provided, so there was zero hassle — just grab your mask and fins and go.
After our snorkeling stops as we sailed toward Caulker Caye, the crew served a delicious lunch on board, which gave us a chance to relax, refuel, and soak in the views. The catamaran itself was comfortable and well-maintained, making the whole day feel smooth and very relaxing . Charlie (El Capitan) did a great job at the helm!
The whole experience — the snorkeling, the food, the crew, the scenery — came together perfectly, Watching the sun set in the West and moon rise in the East from the boat on the way back was the ideal way to end the day.
Huge thanks to Charlie, Anna, and Ray for such a memorable adventure. Anna and Ray were our guides on the snorkeling stops as well as making sure everyone was comfortable and happy every minute of the day. If you're in San Pedro and looking for a fun, well-organized way to see the reef and enjoy the water, this is it. Highly recommend it!
PS. I have snorkeled and dived at The Great Barrier Reef in Australia and this was a better experience.

The best tour!!!!
We couldn’t have asked for a better tour!!! It was hands down the most magical day! From sea turtles, sharks, stingrays to dolphins!!! Our kids couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had! I was unsure how much our 5yr old would be able to do without one parent having to sit out with him but our guides helped so much. This was our favorite part of our stay in Belize.
