Évora Evening Bites is a food and drink walk through the heart of Évora, designed for travelers who want to eat and drink like a local, not just pass through.
As golden hour settles over the city, your guide leads you through Évora’s UNESCO-listed historic center, ducking into family-run tascos, wine bars, and pastelarias that most visitors never find. Across 4 carefully chosen tasting stops, you’ll try the dishes and drinks locals actually order: robust Alentejo wines, craft beers, proper Alentejo plates, the ones locals actually eat, and conventual sweets made the same way they’ve been made for centuries.
History shows up along the way, but always in service of the food. Every bite has a story. Every stop is chosen for taste first. The whole experience moves to the Alentejo rhythm of vagar: unhurried, generous, and meant to be savored.

Nice insights in a relaxed atmosphere
The tour was organized in an exemplary manner. We received comprehensive information about the meeting point, changed time, etc. well in advance. They also asked if there was anything we did not like or could not eat. Tour guide Marcus gave us a great insight and information about regional specialties and the city of Évora and the region. We felt very comfortable and highly recommend the tour.
