Etna Private Tour and Excursion

Words honestly cannot describe how much I loved this hike! Going into it, I had no idea what to expect, but I can say that it completely exceeded my expectations. The hike was breathtaking, and Antonio did an amazing job of tailoring the experience to our group. He made sure we were comfortable while still pushing us to experience everything the mountain had to offer, and he helped us create moments I know I’ll be telling everyone about. The drone footage was incredible and such a special bonus, and Antonio’s knowledge of Mt Etna and the native flora and fauna along the way was fantastic. You could really tell how passionate he is! Antonio was incredibly helpful from the beginning, even offering to pick us up from our accommodation, which made the whole experience so easy. I genuinely cannot recommend this hike enough. If you’re visiting Mt Etna, book this experience - you won’t regret it! Thank you so much, Antonio, for an unforgettable day!

Antonio catered for our needs. Picked us up on time, drove us in a spacious, comfy car. We visited craters of Etna and he chose slopes for our fitness level. He was very informative about the history and Etna. All in all it was a great experience for the family and we got drone videos of our hike. Thank you Antonio! It was an amazing experience!

I took my three teenage boys for our first ever vacation to Sicily and volcano was supposed to be a highlight of course. I was very glad Antonio was proactive on Facebook and adviced many people about Etna trips, no matter whether they book his services or not. The experience in a small group was very gentle, personal, caring, informative, spectacular. It was clear that he fine-tuned the track, information, rest, views, into perfect natural and not overwhelming mix. We had a very nice and quiet tour from Antonio. There was plenty of room for questions. He knew a lot to tell. We had a small group, that made it extra nice. He also let us taste some local products during the tour. We really enjoyed it.

We booked a tour with Antonio directly via Facebook and can only leave a glowing review he was extremely clear on costs and what we would do,he was punctual and extremely knowledgeable on the island Sicily not just Mt Etna and an absolute pleasure to be around he made us feel at ease instantly he also provided us with a surprise taste of delights from catania when we stopped briefly to admire the views and amazing experience we couldnt recommend him any higher

We did the trip with our family all different persons with a different interest. But Antonio's tour showed we do have the same interest as Antonio is a guide with interesting historical facts. During the walk he shared stories, about the plants, trees and the former population of Sicilie. Was answering our questions showed foto's, video's about the impressive Etna. The scenery during our walk was aswome and Antonio a dedicated and super friendly person.

Absolutely amazing tour of Etna, my daughter 7 absolutely loved it and so did we! Hike was perfect, and facts about the volcano, wildlife and plants were fantastic. Added bonus was some wine and cake during the walk - 10/10 would definitely do another tour when we come back to Sicily.

Antonio is an excellent guide as he is very knowledgable about Etna and other volcanoes. He is from the area and knows some of the less touristy spots. He is kind and considerate and makes you feel like a special guest on your trip around Etna. He can tailor the trip to your needs, so whether you are a strong hiker or not, he is your man!

We had such a great time on this tour! 😊 The communication was super easy from the start, and the whole trip was really interesting, with lots of cool explanations and historical facts along the way. Our guide was amazing at adapting the route to what we wanted, while also keeping in mind our fitness level. We really appreciated how flexible he was, even making changes during the hike to make sure we had the best experience. The little snacks were such a nice surprise and honestly so good! Highly recommend this if you want to see a less touristy side of Etna with stunning views and great company. And bonus: he took loads of photos for us too 😅📸
