You will be able to admire various lava flows that have occurred in recent centuries, we will cross a beautiful oak forest and visit a beautiful lava flow cave. Along the route we will also encounter the Sartorius Mountains, conical promontories of volcanic origin formed by the lava flow of 1865 until we reach the historic Citelli refuge at 1700 m. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and professionalism. A truly outstanding experience overall.
From start to finish everything went 100 %as planned- the equipment that was provided was up to date and excellent. Our tour leader was patient and did not rush us. The biking segment was beyond our expectations. We then were taken to a local winery that was a very unique experience. We’ve been to many wineries, and this would be at the top of the list. Being situated under Mt Edna only enhanced the experience.
