"Coach tour" -- a potentially terrifying phrase that conjures images of a busted A/C, corny tour guide jokes, and seats with more than one chewing gum stain for some reason. But -- not this coach tour. This coach tour was spectacular. The sights were truly awe-inspiring. The history was fascinating. The sprinter van was nice. But what really made this tour special was our guide, Alpy. He's knowledgeable, personable, funny, and a bunch of other adjectives that are all positive. Truly couldn't recommend this tour more! Great day trip! We had a fantastic day which included Ephesus, the Virgin Mary’s house, Artemis temple, a pottery workshop and Turkish delight store. Alpy Our tour guide was amazing! I've been on many tours in many countries and I can safely say this was the best I've been on in no small part due to our tour guide Alperen. His knowledge was incredible and what's more his enthusiasm and love for the history and culture of this part of Türkiye was infectious! Ephesus is amazing and Alpy really brought it to life as our guide. He was also great for answering all our questions! It was an absolutely fabulous day with lots of history, humour, great story telling and a fine meal for lunch.
