Endangered Monkeys Watching - Red Shanked Douc Langurs

An amazing experience! Woke up really early to see these rare monkeys. Cillian my tour guide was amazing, so friendly and kind, would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

An unforgettable, beautiful tour early in the morning in a magical landscape. Cillian the guide had a very good eye and I was able to observe the monkeys very well. For nature photographers, the tour is definitely worth it. Had we not seen any monkeys (which is hardly the case with Cillian's watchful eye), the great ride through the beautiful landscape would have been an experience in itself. I can only highly recommend the team and the tour.

I had a fantastic experience with the Endangered Monkeys Watching – Red Shanked Douc Langurs tour. As a solo traveller, it was such a special way to explore the Mountain and see these incredible animals in their natural environment. My guide, Alan, was great. He picked me up from my hotel right on time and was friendly, knowledgeable and informative throughout the tour. He was took the time to explain more about their behaviour and the importance of protecting them. Seeing these beautiful monkeys in the wild was absolutely amazing. Their colourful markings, almost porcelain-like faces and incredibly mesmerising eyes make them truly unforgettable. Being high up on Monkey Mountain, surrounded by the beautiful scenery while watching them in the trees, was beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you're interested in wildlife and want to experience something a little different. Alan was a fantastic guide and made the whole experience enjoyable, relaxed and memorable. 🐒🌿❤️

Fantastic Morning Monkey Trek 🐒 The early morning was definitely the best option, helping us beat the crowds and enjoy the cooler air. Our guide, Cillian, was absolutely lovely and incredibly knowledgeable. He knew so much about the monkeys and their environment, which made the experience even more interesting. We were lucky enough to see plenty of monkeys, and they came surprisingly close, giving us some fantastic views. Cillian also took lots of photos throughout the morning and later sent them to us via WhatsApp. The quality of the photos was fantastic and such a lovely bonus to have these memories to take home. The binoculars provided were also excellent quality and really added to the experience, allowing us to get an even better look at the monkeys. Overall, it was a fantastic morning and a brilliant experience from start to finish. We would definitely recommend doing the early morning tour — and if you’re lucky enough to have Cillian as your guide, you’re in for a real treat!

We did this tour today and absolutely loved it! Our guides, Alan and Luke, picked us up right on time at 5:30 AM. The motorbike ride was safe and already a great experience, especially riding along the coast at sunrise towards the Son Tra Peninsula. Soon after arriving, we spotted the first rare Red-shanked Douc Langurs. Alan and Luke gave us binoculars and explained a lot about the monkeys, their behavior and the surrounding nature. We stopped whenever we wanted or whenever they spotted something interesting. Everything was relaxed, well organized and never rushed. One of them also had a professional camera with a large zoom lens and took incredible photos, which were sent to us afterwards. If you love nature and wildlife and want a special experience close to Da Nang, we highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Alan and Luke! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My family and I really enjoyed the tour! We went with "Alan Team" and they were all very nice and likable. I personally rode with Alan on his scooter and he is totally cool and funny. Also, we saw many monkeys which was very nice.

We did the tour with Leo and Luke, it was an incredible experience. From the meeting point, they were very attentive and mindful of everything. We were lucky enough to see several families of red-shanked douc langurs and, in addition, the views throughout the route are beautiful. To end the afternoon, we enjoyed a spectacular sunset. The pick-up and drop-off was very punctual and the motorcycle drove very steadily. The guide had a very good eye and could spot the monkey hidden in the tree at a glance. He also took pictures of the monkey with his camera and sent them to us. He also prepared a telescope for us. Monkeys are very beautiful, elegant and so cute.
