The experience was great and informative. We were allowed to pick tea leaves ourselves, and afterwards we were introduced to the tea preparation process. A tea tasting followed, and we were even able to try the tea we had picked ourselves. The snacks that were provided were very delicious and local. There were even more snacks than I had expected. Overall, it lasted 2 hours. There was no pickup. We had to organize the round-trip transportation ourselves (the venue is approximately 2 km from the center).

The best experience, authentic tea farm. It was nice to see the entire process start to finish, and actually drink at the end your picked product. Lots of delicious food, 6 or 7 types of tea including white tea which was a first.
Local, family run. Very informative, friendly and fun. A lovely experience. Would recommend to any couple, family or solo traveller. The Sri Lankan snacks were a great bonus.
Very nice tour and we had a lot of fun harvesting and making our own tea in the workshop. Fazil was really nice and teached us all about tea and the process of making it. Definitely worth a visit!
Brilliant tour taking you on whole journey of tea making from picking, drying, fermenting, making and tasting. It is a excellent explanation of tea, my favourite drink.
