We booked with Maria for a private tour to see Elafonissi beach and to see some of the beautiful cretan countryside. We specifically chose Maria for her local knowledge and flexible approach to planning the day. She was very easy to deal with and provided everything we needed to enjoy the day including some delicious local food and snacks. If you want to see Elafonissi at its most beautiful you really need to get there early (10am latest) and avoid the large coach tours. We had four hours at the beach including nearly 2 with hardly anyone there, with a drive through stunning mountain scenery, a stop to sample local honey and a stop and a stunning church hidden away on a hillside the day was our holiday highlight. We would definitely use Maria again

We begin in Chania, where I pick you up from your hotel, villa, or port. Before we head south, we take a moment to go over the plan for the day. This is a private experience, so the route can adapt to your preferences. From the first minute, the day is shaped around you.

On our way back to Chania, we design the final part of the day together. We booked a private tour with Maria from Imable. Such a warm kind compassionate accommodative person. We travelled on family vacation in July 2026. Had two handicapped adults she really bent over backwards to meet ours needs. She was honest and resourceful. We had such a lovely day was a dream come true!
