I booked a Full-Day Private Walking Tour of Edinburgh for my family and we thoroughly (x10) enjoyed our time with Sjoukje! I would highly recommend it. Sjoukje has such an amazing energy and kept us all engaged with her *BRILLIANT* storytelling and sense of humour. She's clearly highly experienced with incredible passion and knowledge, she's very warm and friendly and had great banter. She really made Edinburgh come alive for us with the way she weaved history, people, facts, anecdotes and jokes together into her stories. Sometime during the tour she learned that I was a Harry Potter fan, so she went out of her way to highlight specific HP points of interest during our time at Greyfriar's—which was a very unexpected and welcome surprise! I'm so glad we booked this tour and got Sjoukje for the day—this is one I'll remember and rave about for years to come. It's given us such a fond impression and memory of Edinburgh that we really look forward to returning and spending more time here. A note on the Clan Pascual team as well—wonderful service, superbly responsive, and very effective communications. Really hassle-free from enquiry to booking to the tour day itself. Top notch!
Our guide James is phenomenal and throughly enjoyed his friendly and knowledge chats. Highly recommend this for your first time visiting Edinburgh.
