We loved this tour! Alistair was an amazing guide - he is incredibly knowledgeable, very personable, and humorous. Alastair was amazing. We just landed a couple of hours ago from the USA and this was our first activity in Edinburgh. I asked a lot of questions as I was really curious about the history of Edinburgh Castle and the surrounding area and he answered every question in great detail. His passion showed throughout the tour. Me and my son had an amazing time enjoying this piece of history with a knowledge guide and a fun group. I would strongly recommend this tour with Alastair.

Alistair was a great tour guide. Lots of knowledge, amusing and went at a good pace for the whole group. Alistair referred to the group as the family, and talked about making sure everyone was looking out for each other, which I thought was a nice way to set the scene for the tour. I really enjoyed learning some of the history of the Castle.
