Price-performance ratio not okay

I was very disappointed with the booked tour. The tour guide was supposed to be in German and the city tour was at best a short stopover. We were able to get off near Iolani Palace, 15 min later we were brought back to the hotel. I had expected to learn interesting facts about Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, or Honolulu from the tour guide along the way, but we could have saved ourselves the 5 sentences in English.

Efficient and easy!

Knowledgeable driver . We breezed in and had clear directions making the experience much easier! Wasted no time giving us clear "go here" , "do this" directions and they worked great. Plenty of time to tour the grounds at our pace

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this tour

We booked the "Pearl Harbor and USS Arizona Plus Downtown Honolulu" tour in German for our family (2 adults and 2 children, ages 12 and 13) and paid over USD 400 in total. Based on the description, we expected an actual guided tour. Instead, what we received was essentially transportation to Pearl Harbor with some information during the drive. Once we arrived at Pearl Harbor, we were simply dropped off at the Visitor Center and had to explore everything on our own. Pearl Harbor itself is completely free to visit, and we even had to purchase the German audio guide ourselves for an additional USD 10. We also had to join the standby line for the USS Arizona Memorial because no tickets were included. The short drive through downtown Honolulu with a few brief stops does not justify the high price of this tour. Looking back, we would have had exactly the same experience by driving there ourselves in our rental car, while saving over USD 400. After contacting customer service, we were informed that guides are not allowed to accompany guests inside Pearl Harbor due to National Park Service regulations. We understand and respect those rules. However, our main criticism is that this is not communicated clearly enough before booking. The tour description gives the impression that you are booking a guided Pearl Harbor experience, when in reality it is primarily a transportation service. After reading the Google reviews, we noticed that several other customers had the same misunderstanding, which suggests that the tour description could be much clearer. Our recommendation: drive to Pearl Harbor yourself, park there, and purchase the official audio guide if you would like additional information. You will have virtually the same experience for a fraction of the price.

Not at all worth it

The tour car driver was great. However this company charged us $79 per person for Pearl Harbor tickets and they also don’t purchase tickets and let us put ourselves in waitlist as we arrive in the memorial which you can do on your own without them too. If i have not booked through them and directly showed up in the morning, it would have cost me $3 for 3 folks and now it costs me more than $250 for 3. I would NOT recommend anyone to book through them and pay this much amount just for 15-20 minutes cab drive and very small downtown tour.

A must see

If you are traveling to Honolulu, it’s a definite must see. It was a somber feeling. The respect and reverence displayed for those who have died. Our tour guide Christine was very knowledgeable and patient. I liked how early we went because the day became very hot afterwards. The tour company was able to accommodate me, and even picked me up at my hotel even though it was not listed as one of their pick up locations. Great service. The only recommendation would be to have water on the bus for everyone. It was extremely hot. It was a great value for the information that we received and the places we went.

Pearl Harbor 1st visit

Loved the door to door pickup/dropoff in a private small group air conditioned van. Tour guide Ben has a great personality and very knowledgeable about Oahu. Enjoyed being able to get on first boat out at 8:00am to pay respects at the memorial with the Early Entrance ticket. Lots of time to see everything and for small additional fee to go on the submarine on site . Easy to grab snacks and water to stay hydrated on sunny days. Gift shop has variety of options to take home something memorable. Would recommend when visiting the island for the first time. Thank you

Seemed reasonable at first, but turned out to be an expensive taxi.

Only transportation really. No tour guide, just instructions on trip, and your on your own. It just wasn't what I expected.

Timing was everything!

We went early and were so glad. It was cooler and less crowded. When it got warm we saw the two films and visited the museum in air conditioning. Small bags and clear bags were allowed.
