Nice trip, but don't book through TripAdvisor!
The safari is fun, but DO NOT book this trip through TripAdvisor! The price listed (USD 142) would be correct, but is clickbait. The price you end up paying is double that. And then the price/quality ratio is no longer correct. Expect a relatively small park with lots of zebras, wildebeest, water bulb, hippos, impala, ostriches, etc. There are also giraffes in the park, but unfortunately I missed them. The guide Thami is fantastic, he is very passionate and also told many interesting things about life in South Africa during the car ride. Book this trip directly through the Cullinan Guided Journeys tour operator. Then you've got your money's worth.

Seeing BIG Animals
Excellent trip!
We had a terrific cheerful and knowledgeable guide.
We saw many animals, including giraffes, zebras, blesbucks, wildebeests, impalas, kudus, nyalas, and rhinos. And I was surprised to see a few vervet monkeys and many ostriches.

The Best of Safaris
Wonderful experience. Many animals up- close. Zebras, Rhinos, Ostriches, Deer, Giraffes, Hippos etc…….. The guide was exceptional providing commentary on environment and history of Durban. Worth every penny and more. Vehicle was clean, comfortable and provided AC.

It was a good trip....

Great day and enjoyed the safari.
our guide was completely professional and supply bottle water two both myself. He was 15 minutes early, so we were able to leave right away. the car was clean and appeared new. The guide was knowledgeable and well informed. He drove safely and obeyed all traffic laws. the safari was enjoyable and we saw all the animals as advertised. I would recommend this for everyone.

A mini Safari to Tala
We enjoyed the drive with Rennie, our tour guide, and the park. He went out of his way to make sure we saw all the animals in the reserve.

Fun
Your was booked for 6 hours we only went for 4.5hrs
Only the front seat can hear the driver.
Would have been nice to get a little more local culture experience

Tala game reserve.
It was a great experience to see these beautiful animals in there own environment in the wild.
To see them strolling around with not a care in the world and no predators.
I would also like to add a comment about our driver and guide who's name was Tommy .what a wonderful man,went out of his way to show us around that wonderful Tala game reserve.
