Dunn's River Falls from Negril with Lunch and Admission

My husband and I booked the 12-hour tour to Dunn's River Falls, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Jamaica! Since it ended up being just the two of us, along with our guide, Melvin, and our driver, it felt like a private tour. We actually finished in about 10 hours, which worked out perfectly. Lunch was included, and although I can't remember the name of the restaurant, I absolutely loved the atmosphere. The jerk chicken was really good! Melvin was an incredible guide. He was professional, personable, and so knowledgeable. During the drive, he taught us about the different parishes and areas we passed through, sharing interesting facts and local history that made the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. At times, it honestly felt like we were spending the day with a longtime friend. We chose to do the full climb up Dunn's River Falls, and I can't say enough about how amazing Melvin was. There was one section that really intimidated me, and I was seriously considering stopping halfway. Thanks to his experience, encouragement, and expert knowledge of the falls and the safest way to navigate them, I found the confidence to keep going. He made me feel completely supported and safe every step of the way. I'm so proud that I completed the entire climb, and I truly don't think I would have done it without his guidance. This tour was fun, well-organized, and unforgettable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jamaica, and if you have the opportunity, ask for Melvin as your guide. Melvin was awesome and did his best considering the hiccups along the way. Very personable and helpful as we climbed up the fall. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. We then completed the trip with an awesome lunch as Sharkies. Great experience. Highly recommend water shoes with great traction as several areas are extremely slippery and it is very easy to fall.
