Meet the dark side of Dubrovnik city on this 90-minutes long walking tour that starts in the twilight time near the main local graveyard. Haunted Dubrovnik
We will meet at Boninovo, where the padlocks of love are hanging, with the beautiful view of the open sea. This is where the main cemetery of the city is located and nearby the cemetery, there is one intriguing palace from the 16th century reputed to be haunted.
Gradac Park
We will walk through the dark park, infamous for the executions in the old times. We'll also see the old hospital and the location where the quarantine used to be.
Pile Gate
We'll explore the suburb of Pile with beautiful forts of st. Lawrence and Bokar, known to serve as prisons on the past. We will also end our walk at Pile square by the fountain with the nymph and a satyr.

Lacked something
We have done many ghost tours around the world because we love hearing different stories and seeing different parts of the city and at night Maybe we came at the wrong time of the year . The tour started in daylight at the cemetery which really doesn’t create the starting atmosphere The tour guide was great but we just found something was lacking

Would highly recommend
Met by the lovely Maria, she made the whole experience memorable. My sister who was originally reluctant to go on it ( who doesn't even like a ghost train, survived). Would certainly recommend the ghost walk.

Very interesting
Great fun, really love to hear some old tales from past times when I visit somewhere new. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, Marija was very friendly and brought the tales to life. Thanks so much. We also did Maria’s dark tales of the old town tour and would recommend doing both.

Not what we expected nothing scary have had better tours
Not as we expected just stories nothing scary the guide was good but nothing scary she had black clothes on and a lamp

Great informative and fun guide who educated and entertained. Learned so much with wonderful story telling of local legends and history from lots of locations. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the city.

Spooky tour with some laughs along the way. Knowledgeable tour guide that knows her city very well.
This was a very spooky and fun tour. Great for any age and full of interesting lore from the area. You can tell the guide is extremely passionate about her city and the wonderful tales that come along with it. 10/10 definitely do not miss this.

Medieval dirt, gossip, and intrigue!
Wow what a great tour! Marija is a fantastic storyteller and it’s so much fun to learn history through the layers of rumors, scandals, hauntings and more! Bonus: the tour is in the evening, when there are wayyyyy fewer tourists taking tours, so it’s a more relaxing time to move through the town. Marija was happy to answer questions and had a great sense of humor as she told us the stories of this beautiful old town. Highly recommend!
