Dublin Historical Centre Private Food Tour with 6 Food Tastings

Ash was waiting for us at the designated location early with a smile on her face. She guided us through the city with lots of extra historical information and interesting insights. The tastings were all delicious at spots we would have never found on our own. We loved the traditional Irish stew and the Irish coffee lesson. We will try to replicate when we get home. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Cathy, our tour guide was great. She explained a lot of of the local history while walking from spot to spot. She filled the time very nicely, but still allowed everybody in the tour to get to know each other as well. The selections were good and featured a variety of options, also included things I never would have tried on my own, which added to the experience.

Lee was a rockstar! We had so much fun on our private tour with him. He was filled with random facts and funny anecdotes, and the food we tried was all delicious. We could tell he had a really good relationship with all the owners and managers of the spots we visited, which says a lot about him!

Ash was absolutely wonderful—incredibly friendly, full of knowledge about Dublin and Irish history, and made us all so comfortable while we went all around Dublin. We learned how to make (and drink) Irish coffee, had Irish hangover breakfast sandwiches from a Michelin-starred chef, a variety of creamy, fresh and aged Irish cheese and crackers, extremely fresh raw Irish oysters, seafood chowder (or mutton, lamb, beef, or vegetarian) stew with three different types of soda bread, and potato ice cream (the shop also had Bailey’s, whiskey, and Guinness ice cream, among others). Overall an excellent food tour that showcased the variety of Dublin’s food scene, with very friendly people. Amazing experience, thank you Ash!!
