Its a good walk about of...
Its a good walk about of the city on both sides of the river. The food was really good and the Irish coffee was PERFECT. Jane had a lot of experience on foot and through education. It was a good time and my partner also enjoyed. We were full by the end of it!

Fabulous tour, highly recommended!
We book food walking tours every time we travel and this was one of the best! Our guide, Lisa, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about food and Dublin — a perfect combination! We learned a lot and enjoyed sampling a variety of food and drink from local establishments. Lisa also gave us many recommendations for other places in the city to eat and drink.
Operator response
Thank you so much. Lisa is brilliant, we're delighted that you enjoyed the tour with her.

Great experience!
Today we did a food tour … we met our tour guide, Maeve, and fellow foodies, at the Spire of Dublin, officially named the Monument of Light, a 120-meter (398-foot) stainless steel pin-like monument located in the middle of O’Cornell Street across from the General Post Office.
After a brief introduction, we set off with Maeve to visit five restaurants for a taste of Dublin:
1. Our first stop was at Tang where we made our way downstairs to try freshly baked scones with butter and strawberry jam.
2. Our next stop was Vice, where the bartender demonstrated how to make an Irish coffee with Irish whisky and spiced orange cream …. 😋
3. Next up was Gallagher’s Boxty House where we enjoyed a beer and a trio of Irish stews (beef, pork and lamb) and an Irish boxty for the vegetarian. Several members of our group tried a Baby Guinness - a shot of Khalua topped with Baileys 😋
4. Our next stop was dessert … two scoops of ice cream at Murphy’s … a local creamery renowned for its innovative flavours … we tried the Dingle Sea Salt vanilla and the Irish Brown Bread - both were delicious!
5. Our last stop was Sheridans Cheesemongers where we tried two pieces of cheese.
The tour was a lot of fun, Maeve was an excellent guide, food was delicious … and we had a great group to share the experience with!

Perfect intro to traditional Irish cuisine
We had a fun morning tasting a scone, seeing how to make the finest Irish coffee, a lunch with a variety of traditional stews, a beer and Irish brown bread, then onto a cheesemonger and an ice cream maker. All the spending our time with a knowledgeable culinary guide who kept us entertained with her good natured banter.

Delicious, Don't Miss It
Kevin was a great guide, he was very chill and friendly and had a lot of good information about the food and places we went. The food was all great, and we wouldn't have found most of these places on our own. Thanks for the cheese!

Great guide and great tour
I thoroughly enjoyed my recent Delicious Dublin tour with Lisa. Although I had been to Dublin a few times before, it was fascinating to learn about Irish culture through food. The stops are well chosen and represent both high quality as well as opportunities to learn more. We visited a bakery and got to see a sort of behind the scenes look at their former kitchen, a funny and comprehensive lesson on Irish coffee and enjoyed great examples of Irish dairy. Lisa, with her deep knowledge, was great about answering questions. I would happily recommend her and this tour.
