Children are 6-11 years and adults are 12 years and above. Camel riding is not recommended for children under 4 years.
Our safari vehicles are long wheelbase off-road cars that are fitted with seat belts, roll cages and air-conditioning and are licensed to carry up to six passengers, excluding the driver. By law, all passengers must wear seat belts while the vehicle is in motion.
There are special considerations for children travelling in our off-road vehicles. Guests under 2 years of age will not be allowed to participate in any activity involving a physical dune drive or other off-road safaris For the safety of our younger passengers in the off-road vehicles special seating is required and must be requested and booked in advance, as below: Infant seat is required for infants 0-12 months/or under 75cm. For this age group an exclusive vehicle must be booked. Baby Seat is required for children 2-3 years and/or 65cm – 95cm) - For this group an exclusive vehicle must be booked. Child Booster Seat is required for 4-5 years and/or 105cm – 125cm - For this age group an exclusive vehicle must be booked. Booster Cushion is required for children above 5 years and/or under 135cms) - For this age group sharing vehicle is booked.
Our vehicles are equipped with telephones to provide a constant link with other vehicles in the party as well as with the safari base. Our safari guides are trained in first aid and carry first aid kits. Guides carry mobile phones and radios and vehicles are fitted with GPS.
Seating is not pre-allocated. During safaris, seating for passengers within one 4x4 vehicle will be rotated.
We recommend that all passengers read our Safety Card which is available with the driver/guide in the vehicle before proceeding on our tours.
Our tours are conducted in more than one language and are usually multilingual.However our safaris are conducted in English langauge.
Our safaris involve off-road driving through rugged country - which adds to the excitement of the tour, however because of the adventurous nature and the rough terrain covered, you should not participate if your health or any pre-existing medical conditions (including heart ailments neck or back problems) may be adversely affected.
Arabian Adventures supports the zero plastic initiative and single-use plastic is not used at our main campsite. Instead glasses and water dispensers are available.

Best option for true camel ride

Camel Ride - an amazing morning
We went on the Camel ride (no dune buggies or anything else), and it was beautiful. It was a morning trip, and the desert was really peaceful with lots of wildlife around. The guides were excellent, and very keen to provide anything we needed. It was a much-needed break from the built-up environment of the city. Highly recommended.

Fun experience
Fun hike on camels through a beautiful nature reserve where we got to see many animals and enjoyed a nice breakfast by an oasis. Have to mention our driver Shammem, he was so informative about the reserve and generally had some great stories to tell, plus he is one hell of a driver.

Camel trekking
Easy & simple booking. Great communication. Pickup ontime and my daughter and I had an awesome time with the camels. Nice small group and breakfast at the lake was nice. Second half of the ride went so quickly just as we were getting use to the camels. Weather was also wonderful when we went.Recommended experience.

Highlight of our visit
Wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the whole experience was even better than expected and the highlight of our Dubai visit. "Captain" was an excellent guide - arrived early for our pick up and provided great conversation and helpful info about Dubai. Excellent camel trekking
We attended to the camel trekking activity the 16th of January 2020 with Faisal khan, very funny guy :) the breakfast in the oasis was very good with orange juice, coffee and champagne, muffins and croissants. The camels were very calm, cute and lovely. We enjoyed it.

Dubai: Morning Camel Trek - it was great
We took Morning Camel Trek in January 2020. Our children are 10 and 14 years old. Our guide Anoop picked us up in our hotel at 7:45 (exactly as announced), drow as to gathering point, then continued through the desert to the camels...
Anoop is a nice guy, he knows a lot about Dubai, about desert, desert animals and plants. He is skilful with a camera and can also recommend places to take photos. It was exciting to see animals in the desert - oryx antelopes, two species of gazelles, some birds, lizards and so on.
Camel ride was a great experience. We all really enjoyed out desert tour.

Morning camel trek
We had a wonderful day with Zaheer. He was on time, friendly, and informative. We would recommend Arabian Adventures. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. Once inside the Reserve we took a camel trek to a lakeside Oasis, where a delicious breakfast was served beside the lake.
Zaheer described all the wildlife that we may spot in the desert, which animals were nocturnal and which ones we were most likely to spot on our trek. He also gave us a history of the Conservancy and told us all about the introduction of native species back into this area. Zaheer was very kind to our grand daughter and helped to make her feel comfortable near the camels. By the end of our day she was not at all intimidated and was hopping on and off the camel like a pro. Thank you Zaheer for making our trip educational and also a fun experience. Amazing experience, must do
We booked camel trekking and it is definitely a must do. Riding a camel in the heart of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve was an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed every moment of it. Our special thanks goes to our guide Shan, who told us lots of interesting things about UAE and made sure we had enough time to take photos. Shan, thank you very much for the bunch of photos you took - we appreciated very much your running after the camels and driving the car to take the best possible photos of us!

Early morning dune surfing and camel ride.
