The Drach Caves are the best known caves in Mallorca and were mentioned in the novel Clovis Dardentor by Jules Verne. Their impressive spectacle of light and colour, together with stalagmites, stalactites and natural aquifers, make the visit an unforgettable experience. Located in Porto Cristo, these four caves were formed between 11 and 5.3 million years ago. Their subterranean landscape, shaped by the filtration of rainwater through limestone rocks, looks like something out of a science fiction film. The first written references date back to the 14th century, and in 1784 Cardinal Despuig included them in his map of Mallorca. In the 19th century, an enormous underground lake 170 metres long was discovered. Since 1935, a magical classical music concert has been held in this lake.

It was a beautiful tour, the landscapes were incredible, but I want to highlight the attention of our guide Viviana, her explanation and treatment of all the passengers were excellent, very kind and friendly, and a special congratulations to the bus driver Santy who earns all our respect, incredible at driving, very respectful and kind, I will recommend them.
Let's say the bottom line was that there was no tequila to drink the tour nicely. The pickup was about 30 minutes late without explanation or apology. On the 3 buses we had to use during the 1 tour, at least 1 door was defective. In the main bus, the air conditioning did not work. Either the guide is on the phone or the driver has his Assi speaker at maximum. On the way back, the guide got off before distributing the guests, the driver said quote "i'm only the driver, that's my job. Change was in the middle of a favela, with about 1h waiting in the sun The stops of the return journey were a string of detours... Definitely not again!

Had a really superb visit to the caves of Drax and the smaller one well worth the visit to the both of them ..SPECTACULAR...also the visit to the pearl shop...dig deep into your pocket lol..our tour guide on the bus was brilliant and kept us all well informed ...lovely guy ....all in all a really well worth visit

The stop in Majorica is exclusively for shopping. Puerto Cristo hardly offers anything to see although there is variety to eat and the beach is not bad. The visit to the caves is essential, especially those of the Drach although Hams also has its charm. Take the opportunity to eat in Puerto Cristo because if you don’t already return to Palma very late. Margarita, our guide, is giving some interesting recommendations throughout the trip.
Picked up at the hotel neatly and on time, guidance was very good and told about everything along the way. Seen 2 beautiful caves, however, at the Dragon cave it was very massive and crowded, of course the leadership can not help it. A nice day out and definitely recommended.
