Downtown Porto Tile Painting Workshop with Porto Wine (Lapa)

My daughter and I had a lovely afternoon painting tiles. Rita was our instructor and was a delight and kept our glasses topped up. Definitely worth a visit.

This was a nice way for our kids to spend a morning being creative and learning more about the historic importance and influences of azulejos. The instructor was engaging and encouraging to everyone.

Very friendly artist who lead the workshop. Lovely, small group atmosphere and clear teaching. Excited to have my role as a souvenir from my trip to Portugal!

Great experience in downtown Porto. Our host was very helpful and friendly and guided us through the process of creating our own tiles. The room was well layed out and a nice temperature considering it was nearly 40°c outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon.

I was running late because I messed up on public transport and they were very understanding and helped me get caught up. The wine, espresso, and snacks were a nice addition. As a solo traveler I would recommend for a chill afternoon break after running around Porto.

Spontaneous decision to find a craft activity for me and my daughter. It turns out a perfect place to spend with kids. Ariana is a great artist showing us the history of tile in Portugal and guide us through the painting process. I highly recommend it if you wanna find something else to do in Porto.

Came to Porto with wife and two kids (9 & 10) and booked this for the kids. Meanwhile it was just as great for adults. They show you how to paint the tiles, the history of tile making in Portugal and everyone had a great time. Had juices for the kids port for the adults. Great take away to come home with

It was absolutely amazing! The instructor was so friendly and her instructions were very clear. Me, being the perfectionist that I am, took way longer than I was supposed to. But it was completely okay and I got to finish my tile the way I wanted. It’s a really nice workspace and they have a great amount of materials. The wine was delicious. I have zero negative notes. I even bought a pair of beautiful earrings. The room is full with things handmade by artists that you can buy, so even if you don’t have time to do a workshop, I’d still check this place out :)

This was a really fun and interesting activity! My husband and I did it our last night in Porto to learn a little more about tiles and to have a personal keepsake. Francesca was our teacher and she was super helpful and resourceful for helping us complete our tiles. We highly recommend if you are looking for a fun activity combined with learning and a personal keepsake.
