Description
You will observe a unique community of bottlenose dolphins, which have permanent residence in the Sado River estuary. This species is larger than the common dolphin and has a darker hue, close to anthracite gray. You can also observe common dolphins, which are smaller and extremely fast. Speaking of speed, our boat is quite fast, which is a big advantage when it comes to finding dolphins, which are wild animals that travel many nautical miles in a short time. Therefore, our success rate in finding these friendly mammals is around 100%. Furthermore, our boat, due to its characteristics, allows for very close observation of dolphins. This way, you'll be able to take fantastic photos and videos of the experience to share with your family and friends. Dolphins are wild and unpredictable animals. We will locate them in different locations, which makes this experience unique and unrepeatable.

It was absolutely incredible! The two guides were super friendly and shared interesting facts with us—both about the dolphins and the breathtaking coastal landscape. The dolphin tour began in a harbor basin, and we were already thrilled when, after half an hour and numerous dolphin sightings, we headed back toward the starting point. What followed was unbelievable! Two hours along the coast—one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen—with picturesque beaches, crystal-clear water, rock formations, and incredibly beautiful houses. The whole tour was topped off by a stop on a sandbar, where the turquoise-blue water all around created a true Caribbean vibe. We’ll remember this tour for a long time to come, and it was worth every euro. A thousand thanks to Rafaël and our captain for one of our best vacation memories!
It was truly exceptional, we were amazed; 4 minutes after leaving we saw the first dolphins. We even made a stop on a sandbar. It is an experience that will remain etched in our memories! Thank you very much to Longitude, to our guide and to our captain.
Fantastic tour of the Setúbal estuary. We enjoyed seeing the dolphins but also loved seeing the hidden coves and beaches. The guide was informative and engaging. This was my second tour with this group. I highly recommend it.

Unique experience! We saw many dolphins and being on the dinghy we managed to follow them (Victor is a great driver) when they started playing in front of the military ship, diving and jumping! Our guide Ines was very good and super nice, she gave us a lot of interesting information. We also went inside the cave. Victor and Ines are super! I recommend it to everyone
We were able to enjoy this sea excursion as a family with our 2 daughters aged 3 and 7. A great moment during which we were able to observe many dolphins, for a long time and very close to our boat. It was magnificent. Then the visits to the caves, coves, and beaches with very interesting explanations. The 2 guides were very friendly; the young woman gave us very clear explanations in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. A top-notch excursion!
Great experience on the estuary .
We loved this tour so much! We immediately saw the dolphins and never felt like we were forcing ourselves on them too much - the tour guides respected the dolphins. The boat went fast which was great and we got a tour of the national park as well, including the history which was a an unexpected and very pleasant surprise. Highly recommend !
