Dolphin Watching in Mallorca (Paguera)

had a fantastic few hours on the boat the crew were very helpful they gathered everyone to which was the better side of the boat to see the dolphins they stopped off so people could have a little swim in clear waters x all in all well worth the trip highly recommend x

This is an absolute must do trip whilst in Mallorca. We cannot stop talking about our experience, the highlight of our holiday. We boarded in paguera which was nice and easy to do. I’ve always wanted to see dolphins in the wild but was somewhat concerned that I’d feel guilty for encroaching on their space. Thankfully I needn’t have worried as the team were incredibly respectful of their environment, knowledgeable and clearly love what they do. The boat was clean and very well kitted out. Refreshments and snacks were reasonably priced and served with a smile! The chap hosting us was hilarious, great fun and had amazing language skills. We were incredibly lucky to see lots of dolphins including a mum with baby. It was a truly magical experience and the team worked really hard, talking us through where to look and re-orientating the boat to maximise our experience. Worth a look in the windows underneath too. We will definitely be back!

Prefer early morning outings. Top-notch staff. Boat as well.

Quite underwhelming tbh. I thought this would be a smaller boat with fewer people but it was quite a large vessel and it was very busy. The top deck fills very quickly. On the inside lower deck the seating is in a bench style with tables so it’s awkward to leave your seat to go to either side of the boat to see any dolphins. Lovely views though and there’s an opportunity for a quick swim if you want. Paid about the same amount for a similar trip in Fuertaventura (albeit no dolphins) but lunch and unlimited soft drinks were included in the price in that one. The crew were helpful and spoke many languages. I just found the main host very loud and he talked too much.

We had a great experience, the trip was well organised and we saw a group of dolphins including a baby! It was very exciting and the guide was calling out so everyone knew where to look. Although it was busy there was enough room. Children were directed to the front which was great.We absolutely loved swimming off the boat too. I highly recommend this trip. I would recommend younger children bring their own life jacket/floatation aid so they can go swimming. 🐬 👌🏻

The only disappointment, and not a minor one: no glass bottom. However, an exceptional guide; we saw about 6 dolphins swimming around us from the surface. Departure at 8 a.m., so at that time, it was great!

For the price, you cannot expect anything else. We booked a 2-hour tour. But that does not mean that you spend 2 hours dolphin watching or swimming. The boat first rattles around two harbors to pick up all the passengers. When boarding, all passengers are photographed (you can buy the picture later at an overpriced rate). That took a total of 40 minutes (!!!), only then did we head to the dolphins. After 30 minutes of dolphin watching, we went to the swimming stop: 15 minutes of swimming. After that, head back and unload the passengers.

Great experience, we were able to see the dolphins. The children were delighted. The team was great, I really recommend them Thank you for this great time

If you’re wearing prescription glasses and aren’t aggressive enough to fight for a spot by the window or on the boat’s deck, you can barely see any dolphins—just the people and noise around you. It’s really not fair, especially considering that everyone has paid to have a chance to see the dolphins. The boat is overloaded and therefore too crowded.
