This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of kayaking, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or kayak instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins. We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. Group photo is taken at the end of the tour, which will be posted on our social media pages. We had a fantastic time! Our guide prudence was clearly passionate about the area and the wildlife and very knowledgeable. She decided to take an unusual direction and it paid off with multiple dolphins cited playing and feeding! Great fun!

Incredible experience. Had an incredible guide Audrey. Her passion, knowledge, education and light hearted nature added to the incredible beauty of out trip. The stunning natural beauty was breathtaking. We did a 9:30 am with high tide which allowed some back March viewing. We considered doing another tour but ran out of time. Note: sunscreen and water is essential, the heat and sun is not for the weak!!

If you're looking to get out on the water when the temperatures are a little cooler, then the 930 tour is perfect. Sunblock, water, hat and flops are recommended on all kayak tours because our summers are hot.
Great way to start the day! My husband and I booked the 9:30 AM tour the day before Labor Day. We were the only 2 in group, so it was like having a private tour. Prudence was a great guide that knows the area well. Before we left, she told us it would be difficult to see dolphins due to the increased boat traffic for the holiday weekend. That didn't matter much to us because we've kayaked before and were looking forward to time in nature, but still hoped for the best. She knew a low traffic route to try. Toward the middle of the tour, my husband saw a baby shark near the shore. It wasn't scary, just cool! Near the end of our tour, it happened! We saw a dolphin several times as we approached the point Prudence knew they preferred. *Tip - bring water and let Prudence lead so you don't scare the dolphins away.

Wonderful experience. Kayaking up current may be challenging for some, but once you get to the dolphin area, it’s a once-in a-lifetime experience. We had Prudence as the guide, and she was fantastic. I told her that she was the only person mentioned by name on TripAdvisor, so she told me to leave a review saying she was “just ok” so expectations don’t get built up too much. Sorry, Prudence!
