Boston’s only Dog Friendly Harbor Cruise

Everything was perfect! Easy to reserve on line, check-in was fast and the area you board is so beautiful! Plan on spending time there before or after! We have been on a lot of Mass Bay Lines Harbor Tours, Subset Tours and Tall Ships… the Dog Friendly Cruise is my favorite. This is our 3rd time bringing our dog Reggie the Bernedoodle and it’s so much fun! It’s the only Dig Friendly Cruise I know of in Boston and the entire Crew was amazing! Can’t wait to go back again on the next one!

The upper deck has no...

The upper deck has no shade or awning. It can be very hot until you get on the water and have a breeze. The ground of the upper deck can be very hot for dogs and their paws. Bring a blanket for the dog to lay on.

Operator response

Thank you for your review. There is covered but open air seating on the second deck which would give shade. I am sorry the deck was hot. It was nice to finally have some nice weather for your trip.

Relaxing Time!

Very relaxing and enjoyable experience! My friend and I love dogs but didn’t have one with us. We were able to meet and pet so many lovely dogs! The views were also incredible and the bar had a nice selection. For the price, I highly recommend this cruise.

We had a wonderful time!...

We had a wonderful time! However, it's an older boat, so no central A/C onboard in case you or your pup overheats easily.

A Delightful Way to Discover Our New City with the Whole Family

We recently moved to the area and decided to take the dog cruise as a unique way to learn about our new city. It turned out to be a special and memorable experience for the entire family, including our kids and dogs. The boat was spacious offering plenty of room for everyone to move around comfortably. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring both humans and their furry companions felt welcome and cared for. They even provided free treats for the dogs, which was a lovely touch that our pets thoroughly enjoyed. The cruise itself offered beautiful views of the city and its surroundings. It was a relaxing and enjoyable way to take in the sights, and the commentary provided interesting and informative insights about the area’s history and landmarks.

We had a ton of fun with our dog! Beautiful views, easy ride. It is an older boat, just a heads up! Worth it though!!

Fun Day

Gorgeous day to be on water with dog. She loves it. She is used to the ferry boat to the Vineyard. Fun meeting other dogs and their owners.

Don’t miss this unique experience

My husband and I were looking for something fun to do in the city over Memorial Day weekend. We came across a VERY reasonably priced cruise around Boston Harbor that allowed any paying customer to bring their dog with them. We really hit the jackpot with this cruise. Just before boarding i somehow managed to cut a gash in my leg that I couldn’t get to stop bleeding. As we were boarding, one of the crew - a lovely, and fun woman, noticed my predicament and told me to board and she would find me and help me out. I assumed she’d be too busy with her duties but just as we were settling on deck she came looking for me with huge band aids, wet paper towels and dry paper towels. Looking at my wound she realized I might need more so went back downstairs to see what she could rustle up. She came back with gauze and compression bandages. She was wonderful! The cruise itself was very relaxing. All the dogs were well behaved and there were crew members walking around with paper towels for any cleanups that might become necessary. The Captain had interesting facts that he shared with us on the loudspeaker as we continued on our Boston harbor cruise. I obviously loved this cruise but have one suggestion for further trips. Playing music over the intercom in between the Captain speaking would have made this a 10 out of ten. Still a REALLY nice time out on the water with our puppy. THANK YOU!!
