Itinerary
We will meet with professional tour guide at meeting places
Imjingak Park is the closest point to the DMZ accessible to civilians and a powerful symbol of Korea’s hope for reunification. Explore historic landmarks such as the Freedom Bridge, the Mangbaedan Altar, and the war-damaged steam locomotive, while learning about the legacy of the Korean War and the story of a divided nation.
You’ll then be taken to the Dora Observatory, where you can use binoculars to scope out North Korea. Listen to your guide explain the lifestyle across the river as you observe the village of Kijongdong.
Re-board the coach and head to the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, located beneath the border of North Korea and South Korea. Here, learn about the role of these tunnels, which are believed to have been planned as a military invasion route by North Korea. The tour is amazing and Grace is a wonderful guide. She knows so much of the history and kept us informed throughout the trip. Morning pickup was relatively easy as she sent us a pick up location and photo. There were several tours but she is the clearest by holding up a sign of her name. We visited several iconic spots. The most memorable is when we visited Dora observatory and looking over the border, two bombs/landmines exploded in the North Korean side. The tunnel is also a great experience. It is a brilliant and memorable day trip for our family! Thanks Grace!
Amazing Grace certainly she is. Very organised and punctual and super informative. Loved the day. Thanks Grace.
Fabulous, must do experience. Chloe was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable, lighthearted and organised, which made it a great tour.
Amazing grace!!!!! I really enjoyed the tour.
Very good and informative. Grace was great.
best experience ever! Chloe has been the best guide!
Lily was patronizing and repetitive. The whole thing seemed very packaged. I wonder whether the other tour guides were the same. It felt like we were subject to standard talking points.
Lily, our guide for the day, was truly amazing! Very knowledgable but never boring, she was always engaging and very clear. The experience in itself is a must go if you are in Seoul.
