Dive into the heart of history on this DMZ tour from Seoul, visiting the iconic Korean Demilitarized Zone, a unique destination exclusive to South Korea. Explore the DMZ Theater and Exhibition Hall to gain a South Korean perspective on the Korean War, and discover the region’s complex past. This stop on our Korea DMZ trip is the top choice for travelers seeking an unforgettable blend of history and mystery.

30 min

Begin your trip to DMZ from Seoul at Imjingak Pyeonghwa-Nuri Park, a serene tribute to Korean War refugees. Marvel at the “Iron Horse” train, a symbol of the severed railway between North and South Korea, and reflect on the park’s role as a safe haven during the conflict. This stop sets a poignant tone for your Korean Demilitarized Zone tour.

20 min

Walk the historic Bridge of Freedom, used by 12,773 prisoners of war to cross the Imjin River and return home to South Korea in 1953. This emotionally charged site offers a tangible connection to the Korean War’s human stories. Capture the moment against a stunning natural backdrop, making it a highlight of your DMZ Tour in Korea.

Admission included60 min

A stop not to be missed on our itinerary is the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. Located 12 kilometers from Munsan and 52 from Seoul, the tunnel was discovered in 1978. Its purpose was to be used to invade the South. At 1,635 meters long, 2 meters high, and 2 wide, the tunnel can move an entire division per hour! The curious fact here is that when the tunnel was discovered, North Korea alleged that the South had built it for a surprise attack, but evidence points to the contrary. Walking through will feel like you’ve stepped back in time! Explore its chilling history and feel the weight of the past on this must-visit stop of our group DMZ tour from Seoul.

Admission included60 min

Peer into North Korea from Dora Observatory, rebuilt in 2018 for unparalleled and uninhibited views. Use the high-powered binoculars on the third floor to spot the propaganda village (Kijong-dong), Kaesong City, and, on clear days, Kim Il-sung’s bronze statue. This traveler-favorite stop offers a rare glimpse across the border, making it the pinnacle of your DMZ tour from Seoul.

30 min

(Optional) JSA Museum at the DMZ An exclusive highlight of our guided tour from Seoul, the museum brings the story of Panmunjom, the Korean War, and inter-Korean relations to life through rich exhibits and in-depth historical context.

Admission included30 min

(Optional) The JSA Museum, also known as the Joint Security Area Exhibition, provides an in-depth introduction to the history of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and the Panmunjom area. Visitors can learn about the Korean War, the role of the Joint Security Area, and inter-Korean relations through detailed exhibits, photos, videos, and historical artifacts. Although access to the actual JSA is restricted, the JSA Museum offers the closest and most informative experience, helping travelers understand the significance of Panmunjom within the DMZ.

Admission included30 min

(optional) Experience a one-of-a-kind meeting with a real North Korean defector who will share their remarkable journey in person. In their own voice, they'll reveal what everyday life is like inside one of the most secretive countries on Earth, the bravery it took to flee, and the perilous road they traveled to reach freedom. This profound and personal encounter breathes life into the story of the DMZ, reminding us that beyond the watchtowers and borders are real people with unforgettable experiences. The session wraps up with an open Q&A, giving you the rare opportunity to ask your own questions and gain firsthand insights you simply can't get anywhere else.

Admission included60 min

(Optional) End your Korea DMZ tour with a thrill by crossing Gamaksan Red Suspension Bridge, South Korea’s wobbliest towerless suspension bridge. Also known as the Gloucester Heroes Bridge, it honors Korean War heroes, allowing you to experience the profound history near the DMZ. The bridge is a 150-meter-long engineering marvel that can withstand winds of up to 30 meters per second and earthquakes of up to 7 magnitude, making it super safe while offering breathtaking panoramic views of Seolmari Valley you won’t find anywhere else. Be prepared to capture stunning photos, leaving your friends and family in awe. Travelers who have visited before rave about the picturesque beauty of the bridge, calling it a highlight of their trip and a view to remember. Add this to your Korea DMZ trip and prepare for an adventure you’ll never forget!

Admission included60 min

(Optional) Tack on some adventure with an epic stop at the Majang Lake Suspension Bridge, an ultimate crowd-pleaser! Spanning 220 meters across the dazzling Majang Reservoir in Paju, it's one of the nation's longest towerless suspension bridges, built in 2017 for pure fun! As you bounce along its lively sway, you'll catch breathtaking, mirror-like views of sparkling water and lush greenery. Dare to look down through the bulletproof glass section, and your heart will race with delight! Surrounding the bridge, Majang Lake transformed from a 2000s farm reservoir into a buzzing urban oasis, complete with a charming boardwalk and trendy cafes. It's the perfect spot to snap selfies, breathe in the crisp air, and soak up the good vibes. Add this to your trip to the DMZ from Seoul and enjoy a trendy finish to a historic day!

Fantastic DMZ Tour

Had a fantastic experience on this tour. Our guide Crystal was friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything clearly throughout the day. It was really interesting learning more about the DMZ and the history between North and South Korea. One thing to note before going, if you're hoping to take pictures of North Korea, pictures towards the North Korean side is not allowed but that rule is set by the military and not the tour guide herself, so just keep that in mind. Also she is also more than happy to take pictures of you, you just need to ask if you’re doing solo. Otherwise, a fantastic and very interesting tour that I would definitely recommend!

Yay 👍

I thought the first stops were interesting. Gogo, our tour guide, explained our surroundings. Then I didn’t feel well when I just ended going out the tunnel, I don’t recommend going fast when you’re going up. My family helped me get better and Gogo gave me suggestions of what to do so I could feel better. I appreciate that a lot

Jenny has been the best guide ever!

There are a lot of companies & tours with the same schedules, but booking with them was the best choice ever. Jenny has been the sweetest tour guide I ever had. She explained everything throughly and even told us some personal stories which made everything so interesting and more impactful. I think that choosing a good guide for the DMZ tour is the key for a great experience since it is indeed what changed all the experience. Would 100% recommend !

Amazing DMZ tour!

We went to see the DMZ between North- and South Korea. We started out by getting picked up by the guide at the hotel, and went into a very nice van, the guide was very kind, good at english, and know a whole lot about the history of the korean war, and much more! The tour started at 9.30 and we were back at the hotel around 5pm Can surely be recommended!
