Description
The cenotes of the Riviera Maya are a bucket-list experience for divers from around the world, and Dos Ojos is one of the most famous. This experience gives certified divers the opportunity to get a taste of that unique underground world.
The name Dos Ojos, meaning “Two Eyes,” comes from the two large, circular cenotes located close to each other. Here, you’ll explore two very different routes: the Barbie Line and the Bat Cave.
The Barbie Line is famous for its spectacular natural light effects, crystal-clear water and beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and columns. On the Bat Cave, you’ll have the chance to surface partway through the dive inside a huge air dome, where hundreds of bats can be seen hanging from the ceiling and flying overhead.
Two completely different environments, incredible visibility and the feeling of exploring beneath the jungle make Dos Ojos a truly memorable diving experience and a chance to discover one of the Riviera Maya’s most remarkable cenotes.

Casa Cenote en Cenote Carwash
We loved diving with Flying Fish Tulum.
We did Casa Cenote and decided to do Cenote Carwash instead of Dos Ojos because I just got certified. The cavern dives are amazing!
Chris is a really comforting and kind instructor. He helped me a lot with my buoyancy.
Would definitely come back

Operator response
Thank you, Jonathan, for taking the time to share your experience!
It was a pleasure having you with us, and we’re glad Rubi could guide you through some amazing cenotes that matched your interests. Every cenote has its own unique character, and we love helping divers find the ones that best fit their goals and preferences.
I was also happy to help you plan activities so you and your wife could both enjoy everything Tulum has to offer.
Thanks for choosing to dive with us and we hope to welcome you back for more adventures above and below the water!
Best wishes, Jamie

Amazing experience
I went to Flying Fish because they were highly recommended by lonely planet. I can confirm that they are really great. Jamie is very welcoming and helpful. I booked the Casa Cenote and 2 dives in Cenote dos Ojos. The dives were really amazing! Completely different from ocean dives so if you want a different experience, don’t hesitate and just book it. And a big thanks to Cris who was an amazing guide, well prepared and good briefings before the dive. He made me feel really at ease. Everything was well organised and I would definitely book again with flying fish!
Operator response
Hi Freya, fantastic review and we didn’t even know we were listed in The Lonely Planet book. So we went out and bought a copy straight away. We would love to see you return back to Tulum to dive more cenotes. Jamie and Chris

Refresher plus 3 cenote dives - amazing!
Had a fantastic refresher plus dive in casa cenote and then 2 dives in dos ojos. Absolutely out of this world amazing! Mario was my guide and was fantastic, much attention to detail during refresher and dives. Jamie was fantastic in organizing the trip, both great guys. Thanks to all, would highly recommend.

Incredible experience we’ll never forget
My partner (an experienced diver) lived his dream of diving two cenotes (Dos Ojos and El Pitt). I’m not a diver so I snorkeled Dos Ojos. Peggy was our guide and she was absolutely wonderful - funny and knowledgeable and you can tell she truly loves what she does. She also gave us great restaurant recommendations. The cenotes are stunning - not to be missed! Our experience with Flying Fish Tulum was delightful from start to finish. Highly recommend!

An Unforgettable Diving Experience!
Our first-time diving adventure with Flying Fish was absolutely incredible, thanks to Mario! He is not only a highly professional and patient instructor but also incredibly caring and humorous, making us feel safe and at ease throughout the entire experience.
The dive itself was magical—we even encountered a crocodile in Casa Cenote! Mario went above and beyond, capturing stunning photos for us. He also explained fascinating details like stalactite formations and the cenote’s geology, and even shared fun insights into Mexican culture.
This wasn’t just a dive; it was a life experience we’ll never forget. We couldn’t recommend Flying Fish enough—especially with Mario as your guide!
Operator response
