Discovering Lipari by boat (Private tour)

Such a special experience for our family! We did two tours with Eoliana during our stay in Lipari — one around Lipari and an evening trip to Stromboli. We were a group of six: my husband and I, our 8-year-old twin daughters, and their grandparents. From the beginning, Emanuela made everything so easy. Booking was simple, communication was great, and she was incredibly accommodating with our family. Emanuela was also a wonderful tour guide — warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive to everyone. She made sure the girls were having fun, the grandparents were comfortable, and that we all got the most out of both experiences. Both tours were fantastic, but seeing Stromboli at night was something we’ll never forget. It was easily one of our favorite memories from our trip to Sicily. What we loved most was how personal and authentic everything felt. You can tell Emanuela genuinely cares about her guests and loves what she does. We would absolutely book with Eoliana again. Highly recommend!

A Perfect Day Aboard Eoliana Our boat trip in Lipari aboard Eoliana was absolutely unforgettable. The boat was beautiful, and our captain, Emanuela, was absolutely lovely—warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel so special. The spread of food was just as beautiful as it was delicious, with every detail feeling thoughtfully prepared. Between the stunning scenery, the gorgeous boat, the incredible food, and Emanuela’s wonderful hospitality, it was truly the perfect way to experience Lipari from the water. Between the breathtaking views, the splendid boat, the fantastic food, and Emanuela’s warm hospitality, it was truly the perfect way to experience Lipari from the sea. A special day that we will remember for a long time!

A once in a lifetime experience! Emanuela and her husband were phenomenal. We visited Lipari and the Aeolian Islands for our honeymoon and it will now hold a special place in our hearts. We initially did a 2 hour sunset tour but had such a great experience we ended up doing another full day tour including snorkeling, swimming in caves, and relaxing on the boat all day long! Would recommend Emanuela to anyone and we hope our paths cross with her and her husband again. Grazie mille!

My wife and I had the most incredible experience exploring the islands from the water. There is truly no other way to capture the incredible beauty of Vulcano and Lipari. Emanuela was an amazing host - from providing us with local homemade delicacies to explaining the history and unique qualities of the islands, Emanuela made the experience truly one to remember. We HIGHLY recommend taking this excursion!!

Grazie mile! We had an amazing time! Silvestro is such a nice guy. He made sure that we were having the perfect trip. We made a few trips for snorkelling, had a few spritz and enjoyed the local wine. He took us around the islands to some really unique spots. Drinks ans Snacks were included. Best day of our sicily trip. Big recommendation!

The best part of our Italy trip! Would 100% reccommend this tour & going through Emanuela and her husband who are your wonderful guides. The boat is gorgeous, was fully stocked with food & drinks, towels, beach supplies. Both are from Lipari and super knowledgeable about the islands and history. They were so kind and we had such a wonderful experience with them, would highly reccomend them & will absolutely be booking with them again when we are back in Lipari!

Our family of 4 just returned from a magical Italian holiday. The highlight of which was a trip to the Aeolian Islands, just a short ferry ride from Northeastern Sicily. By far the best experience was the private boat tour of the Islands with Eoliana Private Boat tours with our incredible skipper, Emanuela! We climbed aboard her boat in Santa Marina on the Island of Salina in the morning. We were warmly welcomed, reviewed the itinerary and set sail into the azure and crystal-clear water. We sailed past the south of Salina and then across to Lipari with Vulcano off in the distance. Emanuela provided interesting commentary on the Island names (Salina named by the Romans for the saline water found there), the volcanic rock formations and geology. First stop was a secluded are near the cliffs with clear water and abundant marine life. The water depth was 15-20 feet and perfectly calm. We swam and snorkeled for about 45 minutes exhilarated by the cool water and biodiversity. Back on board, Emanuela had prepared delicious bruschetta for us with tomatoes from her own garden as well as other traditional Sicilian snacks. She offered us prosecco and other drinks. We sailed past the famous rock formations of the Faraglioni of Lipari, the remnants of volcanic structures mentioned in Homer’s Odessey. Christopher Nolan had been there a few months earlier filming his own epic version of the Homeric tale. We also swam at the Lover’s Grotto, with amazing turquoise water. She told us about the legend that couples who kiss inside will stay together always! Next stop was the harbor on Lipari for lunch at a local restaurant Emanuela recommended. Amazing pizza and legendary granita. After 60-75 minutes we were off again to another unique and gorgeous swimming spot. Emanuela recounted the many visitors she had brought to this spot who had planned marriage proposals at sunset!! We found the boat trip so relaxing, as we were lulled by the ocean, sun and good food. Emanuela was a wonderful host and answered our many questions about life on the Islands. As our tour was ending, she graciously took photos of our family to memorialize an incredible day that we will cherish for years to come. Emanuela is a warm and gracious host. An experienced boat captain who lives on Lipari. We highly recommend her tours as a memorable and immersive way to see and experience the Aeolian Islands!!! The Los Angeles crew

This was the best excursion ever. Cannot recommend highly enough! Emanuela is just lovely and so informative. Her boat is pristine and beautiful. Emanuela took us to multiple swim stops with snorkeling. The lunch on board of bruschetta was made by Emanuela's mother in law and I'm still thinking about it! I have done boat tours in the past but nothing like this! Fantastic and perfect for creating wonderful memories. Thank you so much Emanuela! I will never forget your kindness and hospitality. 100 stars!
