Overview of Salerno: A walking tour with an archaeologist
The tour provided an excellent overview of the history of Salerno with discussion about the architecture and archaeology. Our guide Roberto, an archaeologist and Salerno native, was excellent. I recommend taking this tour during the early part of your visit to Salerno as the overview provides insight on what sites to explore in more depth.

A Fresh Look at My Own City!
Even though I live in Salerno, I enjoy taking guided tours to learn more about this charming city. It was such a refreshing experience! Roberto, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing interesting stories and historical details about Salerno. We explored the historic center, the beautiful Duomo, and hidden corners. What made it special was how the guide connected the city's rich past with its present, highlighting important events from ancient Roman traces to medieval architecture and vibrant local traditions. As a local, I really appreciated how accurate Roberto was when talking about Salerno's history and culture. Whether you're a tourist or a Salernitan, I highly recommend this tour. It reminded how much beauty and history surrounds us every day, that we shouldn't take for granted! Maia

Get going and see archaeological sites before dinner
Beautiful old city that is overlooked. Roberto is friendly and knowledgable. We learnt so much and it was fun for a few hours before dinner. The history is there if you go looking, but not commonly discussed . Not touristy at all, but enjoyable learning experience.
