Itinerary
120 min
Tour-goers will be guided on foot through the RiNo Art District to see some of the best murals and street art in the country. We'll stop at anywhere from 20-30 pieces, but you'll see nearly 100. (And we love questions about all of it.) We'll also stop to discuss the neighborhood's rapid change has brought new hip businesses but also contributed to the displacement of long-time residents ... and has had an effect on the art. We'll end at Denver Central Market (about a 1/2 mile from the start) where you can grab food or drink from any of the gourmet food hall's 10 restaurants.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
The majority of the walking tour is paved. There are one or two sections that may go over hard-packed dirt. And we also go down an alleyway for a few blocks that sometimes has debris and/or glass. We have had many strong people in wheel chairs on the tour with no problems, but those in wheel chairs without a lot of strength may find it difficult in certain sections.

Great tour, perhaps a bit long
Excellent tour - the amount of street art in the district is overwhelming, and the tour gives it context and purpose.
Beware hot or sunny days in Denver. You need sunscreen and be prepared to sweat.
The tour is a bit long at 2 hours+. You are done by 1.5 hours, even with a mid-point break in A/C. You might want to drop out at the halfway point, though the second half is quite interesting as well as the first.

Highly recommend!
Two adults, two teens. All of us thought the tour was great! Will guided us with humor, history, and insights. We felt like we saw interesting street art, learned about the artists, and picked up some Denver trivia too. Highly recommend!

Will is a great tour...
Will is a great tour guide. Knowledgeable, personable & enthusiastic for what he does. This is the 2nd time that I've taken the tour. First way back in 2018. I thoroughly enjoyed learner about the artist & their art. Both times I came away with a new understanding of the craft.

Informative and colorful!
We were not familiar with Denver, so booked this tour at the beginning of our trip to get the lay of the land in the RiNo district. Will was a great guide- knowledgeable for sure! We were the only guests that day, so got a private tour! The meeting spot was easy to find, and Will did a great job of helping me minimize my walking while still hitting a lot of important pieces. We looped around for a couple hour, and since the tour ended at the Central Market we stayed there for lunch after the tour. Really learned a lot about the Denver graffiti scene and about the graffiti community in general.

Graffiti Art, an educational and fun activity
My friend who was local suggested the tour since she had never done it. We both found it to be so much fun, very interesting and so many more graffiti designs than we expected. Learning about the history and artist makes the experience so much better. Will was a great guide as well, always considering the guests, even offering us sun block as it was a hot day. I highly recommend it!
Operator response
We absolutely love it when locals take our tour as there is so much history and context behind all of the street art -- and so much art that might not even be noticed. So we're so grateful that your friend suggested it and y'all joined us! Thanks for the time and especially for the great recommendation.

A colorful side of Denver
We had an incredible time exploring Denver's vibrant graffiti walls! Our guide, Will, brought the experience to life with the perfect blend of insight, humor, and enthusiasm. His background as a schoolteacher made every stop engaging and easy to understand, adding fascinating context to the artists, techniques, and stories behind the work. We came away with a whole new appreciation for the differences between graffiti and murals, as well as the thought and conceptual design that goes into each piece. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip, and I highly recommend it to anyone with even the slightest interest in art, culture, or seeing Denver from a completely different perspective.

We lovingly refer to our tour as a "class on street art" and I am so glad that you enjoyed being one of our students!
Will was our first guide (there are only 4 of us total!) and has been with us from Day one. We love how he uses his background as a teacher and deputy of the HS drama department to bring the art and the stories behind the art to life.
Thank you for joining us and thank you for the wonderful recommendation!

Great introduction to Denver and graffiti
We had such a great tour with Will! Neither my husband nor I knew much about Denver, so we thought this tour would be a great introduction, and it really was. We learned about Denver in general, Denver's graffiti and street art scene, and graffiti and street art in general. We had only one other person, so we got loads of questions answered and even a wee bit of an extension on the tour.
Highly recommended. It was hot the day we went, so be sure you watch the weather and bring water and use sunscreen when needed.
Operator response
So glad you joined us and so glad you had such a great time with Will! We really love the art and artists -- and this area -- so we love sharing everything we have learned with others. Thrilled that you found all of it such fun and so helpful!
And speaking of helpful, thank you so much for your advice to other tourgoers -- we have also found that an umbrella can sometimes help by offering "portable shade".
Thanks again!
