Our trip starts from Athens. On this amazing full day tour you will see the most beautiful sights and scenery. On our way I will give you a lot of information about history, mythology and culture. We will enjoy a visit to Delphi, novel of the world and the religious sites of Meteora. Also, we will pass by Thermopylae, where the 300 Spartans fought and the breathtaking Arachova. I can adjust the schedule, duration and activities to meet your needs. Please let me know of any special requests you have.

Campo della battaglia delle Termopili
Our trip will start from Athens and then we will drive to Thermopylae, where we will visit Thermopylae's Innovative Centre of Historical Information and we will see the Statue of Leonidas.
Afterwards we will drive to the breathtaking Meteora, where we will visit a lot of monasteries, built on top of 1000 foot rocks, such as the Holy Monastery of Varlaam, Rousanou and the Holy Trinity. Then we will take a break for a coffee at Kalabaka. Driving through the beautiful stone villages of Arachova where we'll be able to stop so that you can take photos and buy souvenirs.
Delphi Ancient Town
After a wonderful scenic drive through mountains and fertile valleys we reach Delphi, located under the 3000ft tall mountain Parnassos. There we will visit the Archaeological museum of Delphi, we will see the Archaeological site of Delphi and the site of the temple of Apollo.
In that stop we will see an amazing luxurius village that was built on the edge of the mountain,amazing view,god time for relaxing and take a coffe or souvenirs.
Distomo Massacre Memorial
Distomo a dramatic village in 1944 350 people lost their lifes,it was a Nazi war crime perpetrated by members of the Waffen-SS in the village of Distomo, Greece, in 1944, during the German occupation of Greece during World War II.
In this extra local area...!!! In the end of the tour all the travellers will enjoy in a very beutifull greek TAVERNA greek food as grill food,salads,deserts,wine,beer,soft dinks. All this food is payed from our copmany,all inclusive meal in the end for all.

We had only one day and...
We had only one day and wanted to see both Delphi and monasteries in Meteora. We booked this private tour. Dimos was amazing. He was knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful specially to my husband that had some disabilities. We spent the whole day visiting the sites and the whole time he was attentive with great attitude. Walking with The Ancient Greeks
Paddy was an extremely respectful, patient and knowledge guide. Throughout the entire trip he provided us with an enrichment of Greek history from its early beginnings in BC to decades after Jesus. It is evident that he loves his country, it's people and it's history. Walking and tracing the steps of the ancient Greek is an unforgettable and thrilling experience . Viewing the magnificent mountains, monasteries reaching toward the heavens inspires and encourages the best in us. Meteora, a must see destination in Greece
This was truly a 14 hour excursion and no corners were cut. They confirmed that our guide Paddy, would be picking us up at six in the morning before our scheduled date, at our verbo. He came ten minutes early., was polite, professional and friendly. He made a stop so we could get a morning coffee and a snack to eat on the way. He was a font of information who's great pride and love for his country and people was evident in the history he provided in preparing us for the sites and locations that he'd be taking us to. We went to the museum and site of Delphi. Then we were taken to Meteora. We were provided options as to which monastery we wanted to see (based on the number of steps and the physical condition of some of our participants) he drove is to other vantage points for perfect photo ops. He made time for bathroom breaks during the excursion and was always attentive to our needs. Bottled cold water was available throughout the excursion. He then drove us to To the monument of Leonidas and the three hundred before returning to Athens, where we finished off with a delicious dinner of Greek Lasagna, stuffed grape leaves, greek salad, fresh bread, fresh Tzatziki, French fries, and beverage choices of soft drinks, water, beer and wines (red or white) and topped off with baklava for dessert. When done, he drove us back to our Vrbo.
