Food Walking Tour off the beaten path
We had a great day with Ronnie. He took us to places we would not have seen and food stops where we would not have eaten as they were not typical. From cemitas to mole to blue corn quesadillas, everything was fantastic. We shared the food as otherwise it would have been too much. We met a local artist and bought a painting. Highly recommend the tour.

Absolute recommendation!
The food tour was definitely one of our highlights in Puebla! We were able to try an incredible number of different local specialties and in the process got to know places that we probably never would have found on our own.
We found it especially nice that it wasn't just about the food. During the tour, we also learned a great deal about Puebla, its history, culture, and the individual dishes. Ron was super likable, relaxed, and had so much to share that the time flew by.
The selection of food was really good and varied, and you get a great insight into the authentic cuisine of Puebla. Furthermore, the atmosphere was very personal and not at all like a typical tourist tour.
For us, the perfect way to get to know Puebla – ideally relatively early in the stay, because afterward you immediately know several places and dishes that you would like to return to.
We would do the tour again anytime and can really recommend it to anyone who likes good food and wants to experience Puebla a bit off the beaten path!

Eat Like a Poblano!
If you come to Puebla this is a must. You’ll see a side of the city (literally) you might not visit otherwise. You’ll also have the best food curated by a guy who really knows where and how the locals eat. Our first stop, for tamales, blew us away, and we couldn’t imagine how it could get any better, but one excellent dish followed another. There’s no way we would’ve ever found these places on our own. But now we know where to eat and drink for the rest of our time here. Plus we learned a lot about culture and history and architecture. Thanks, Ronnie!

Puebla food tour
So glad we decided to start our trip to Puebla with a food tour and so thankful we got Ronnie as our guide! He was friendly and warm from the start and full of local knowledge. He not only introduced us to the delicious food of the area but also explained the rich history of the city - two tours in one! We used his suggestions and insight throughout the trip which made the whole experience so much easier and enjoyable.

A fun, fabulous, and interesting experience!
My teenage daughter and I went on this food tour with Ronnie as our guide. Ronnie was friendly and very informative. I’ve been in Puebla many times before, but the tour took me places and taught me things that were new. All of the food we tried was delicious. Most of the items were new to my daughter, and she liked everything (the canasta tacos were her favorite). We learned about the people and history of Puebla in conjunction with the cuisine we sampled. Ronnie did a fine job of accommodating my vegetarianism and of providing thoughtful comments, not canned lines.
We’ve been on numerous food tours in various locations. Each has been quite different, yet good. Unique attributes of this tour include visiting a number of women-led businesses, visiting and eating at a market, and the richness of context provided surrounding what we tried. Finally, we were offered a great deal of food (you won’t leave hungry) and we did a lot of walking that helped us maintain an appetite for the next thing.
Highly recommended!
