the guide is very nice and helpful, just enough time on bled castle but i would've stayed an extra hour in lake bled if possible to be able to enjoy it more, everything else was perfect
Perfect amount of time in the Lake Bled area. The boat trip to the island is a must, as is the cream cake!!
Glorified taxi service to lake Bled with no extras / only a 3 minute intro and left on your own / time allotment of 4 hours was not enough to enjoy all lake Bled has to offer
It's a wonderful half-day tour to Bled Lake. You travel in a good van with a very professional driver-guide. The place is beautiful with everything one could wish: amazing nature, interesting history, boat trip, magical bell fulfilling wishes.
Great guide. Lovely day with just enough time to visit al the main sights and enjoy a pletna ride to the island. Stunning views. Highly recommended.
It was very good, views were spectacular. Tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone.
Bled is beautiful. There’s not enough time in Bled as you can’t fit in both a boat trip and a potter into the town. Mind you, we were late because one family turned up 20 minutes late; unfortunately that meant that the whole trip was 20 minutes shorter. We shouldn’t have been penalised on the time in Bled because one family turned up late.
Wonderful experience, amazing guide, very comfortable and scenic ride! Definitely recommend this tour to those who wish to explore Lake Bled.
This was less of an organized tour and more shared transportation to a beautiful part of the country to explore independently. The driver provided ample time to explore the area before it was time to return to Ljubljana.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your kind words about beautiful Lake Bled. We're delighted you enjoyed your visit. Lake Bled is a destination that offers something for everyone, which is why we intentionally give our guests the freedom to explore it at their own pace. Some choose a traditional boat ride to the island, others visit Bled Castle, take a walk around the lake, relax at the beach for a swim, or enjoy the famous local cream cake ("kremšnita") at one of the lakeside cafés. As you mentioned, this independent exploration is very much part of the experience. We believe it allows each guest to enjoy the lake in the way that suits them best, while we take care of the transportation, timing, and logistics to ensure a smooth and enjoyable day.
We boked the afternoon tour and it picked up outside the Ibis where we were staying so ultra convenient. Emil was on time, friendly and organised. The mini-bus was airconditioned and though compact was comfortable. Journey was comfortable with Emil telling us enough but not filling every moment with talk. We stopped at the castle first and Emil gave us some background information. Most people opted to miss this but I think that was a mistake. The views from the castle grounds are stunning. The castle is interesting also and there is a place to eat but we didn't have time. Once at the lake, Emil gave the few of us who had visited the castle some information about the area and places to eat. We caught a boat over to the island and it is well worth a visit, though there is worn and steep steps up to the church. There's a nice coffee at the top to compensate. Naturally, we had some Bled cake, a slice is big enough for two and little walk around. A full day visit would be best but we didn't have the time and this trip was ideal for our timetable. Emil (I hope I've got the name right) was the perfect guide, friendly, personable and interesting. We really enjoyed our afternoon trip.
