Kunal has provided an excellent service throughout the booking process. We changed itineraries several times before settling with the 4 day Sandakphu trek. He was patient and kept provding various options. The lodge and hut accommodation for the first 2 nights was clean. Robin and Kunal were great guides for the trek. Unfortunately we had to cut the trek short due to the continuous rain and poor visibility and they both organised our transport back smoothly and dealt with the logistics involved with various cars. They guided us well for the 2 days we trekked and were patient at my pace of hiking. They provided bags for transferring our luggage to make it easier to transport on ponys. I highly recommend Mountain Adventure for all your treks in areas around Darjeeling and Sikkim.

Description
Sandakphu or Sandakpur is a mountain peak in the Singalila Ridge on the border between India and Nepal. It is the highest point of the ridge and the state of West Bengal, India. The peak is located at the edge of the Singalila National Park and has a small village on the summit with a few hotels. All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well being.

Experts and super friendly
Kunal and Rajesh were amazing. They catered to all of our needs. Kunal specifically looked after us through the trek and was always smiling whilst providing insights to the history of darjeeling and info on flora and fauna. Robin our guide was similarly insightful. We had to cut our trek short due to inclement weather and they expertly organised the relevant transport - which was not straight forward given our location at 3600+ meters. Highly recommend and wish them all the best. PS the 1 litre water policy should be 2l. Thanks for accommodating this on our trip.
