Thorough and Informative

As one who lived through that awful weekend (as a freshman in hs) I was impressed with the tour & museum. Tour guide Isaac was extremely informative & easy to listen to. Likewise the Sixth Floor Museum was exceptionally thorough - I was very surprised by “the 7th floor” salute to the print & media coverage - - did not expect it! I recommend the tour to everyone but since the included museum ticket is good for sixty days I recommend splitting it up into two days (one day on the bus - one in the museum).

Hot but well worth it

We took the tour on Saturday, June 27th with Dan, having previously done the same tour with Tim. What I love about this experience is getting two different perspectives on one of history’s greatest mysteries. Both guides are exceptional at what they do and bring impressive knowledge to the subject. I’ve gone back and forth on whether there was more than one shooter, but Dan’s passionate and convincing delivery made a compelling case for Oswald acting alone. As for the motive — his apparent deep hatred of JFK — that still feels like an incomplete answer, and the mystery lingers. Dan spoke with genuine heart and enthusiasm, and it was clear he truly loves what he does. Thank you for another wonderful tour! A few suggestions for improvement: • Pre-print museum tickets — We ran a bit over time and had to scramble to get our tickets before the next tour started. It would help to have them ready in advance. • More water would be appreciated, especially on a warm day. • A small note on language — Dan might want to avoid calling the bus driver “sweetie.” Terms of endearment can be warm and friendly, but work best when used sparingly.

Don’t book this tour

Beware that this is not a cohesive day-long tour. You will be dropped off at the sixth flour museum with only an hour to explore the museum and get back to the starting point for the second part of the tour. The tour operator does not even arrange to pick you up from the museum. We decided to cancel the afternoon portion of the tour so that we would have adequate time to explore the museum. Having said that, our JFK tour guide, Dan, was extraordinary. I’d suggest just getting the JFK tour with him and skipping the city tour.

Two trips in one

Two separate tours and guides in one trip. Dallas city tour with William was very good. There was an annoying family who continued to talk in the mini van. Another passenger asked them to be quiet as he couldn’t hear. They ignored William’s advice not to stand on jfk’s markers in the middle of the road as there had been an accident with traffic and were late coming back to the vehicle. Dan’s jfk was exceptional. So passionate about his subject. Thought provoking and interesting.

Best Dallas Tour

Phenomenal tour. The tour guide (Dan) was so incredibly informative and enthusiastic. His passion for history really shone through. This was easily one of the top highlights of our trip. We had two of our kids with us (15 and 13) and their attention was definitely held. Would book another tour if we are in the area.
