d'Arenberg: The Blending Bench and Degustation with Wine Pairing

We did a wine tasting at the cube prior to a degustation lunch at D’Arrys. Staff are very helpful describing the wines and it was an opportunity to decide on a bottle of wine for our lunch. We didn’t go to the Dali exhibition this time but have enjoyed it in the past. The Dr Seuss exhibition was great. The food and service at D’Arrys was exceptional & vegetarians are well catered for.

Richard and the staff made our first trip to Adelaide extra special 🙏 lunch at the d'Arry's Verandah Restaurant is top tier, the food was nothing less than spectacular, every dish was perfectly cooked and presented the price is great value and the wine pairings (we had 4 bottles between 6 ppl) couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend heading here for at least a half day 3 hours wasn’t enough to fit lunch and a tasting so we will be back for the cellar door next visit. Looking forward to actually getting inside the cube! The lunch was so great we just couldn’t think to leave to squeeze it in. Thank you 🙏

I had the great pleasure of visiting this week with a friend to enjoy the wine pairing and degustation menu. I had been 5 years ago, and again the food, service and ambience did not disappoint. Staff were attentive and took every opportunity to ensure it was a beautiful and relaxed afternoon for us. Every plate was both delicious and beautifully presented and information as to why the wines were chosen for each was a delightful education. Thank you for pairing 43 years of friendship with a memorable afternoon.

We visited in January 2026 as a party of five, meeting the $200+ per person minimum for the Blending Bench and degustation with wine pairing. At this price point, one reasonably expects a polished and well-managed experience. The food itself was excellent — the tasting trays were genuinely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Unfortunately, this was entirely undermined by the service. A neighbouring table, who arrived after us, was served entrées, mains and dessert while we were still waiting on our mains. The disparity in pacing and attention was stark and difficult to overlook. Good food cannot compensate for poor service, particularly in a setting that markets itself as premium. The trays were impressive; the service, regrettably, was not. Make of that what you will.

What an amazing day we had. We started off with the blending bench experience, which was both fun and educational and we each got to take a bottle of wine home we blended ourselves, so special. The degustation lunch and wine pairing was amazing, beautiful food and beautiful wine to compliment it perfectly. We then finished off with a wine tasting experience which was also just fantastic. Staff were so friendly, informative and very welcoming, the location was magic, even with wet weather outside the views were spectacular from inside. Would recommend this to anyone.

Fabulous experience, loved exploring the cube, wine tasting on the 4th floor was fantastic with amazing views. We then went to the verandah for the degustation lunch, this was an amazing meal abd the flavours, service and views all outstanding. I can highly recommend, but to get the best experience I suggest booking well in advance.

Long time drinker but first time visitor to D'Arenberg. Seeing what four generations can achieve is remarkable. Wine tasting followed by their degustation lunch at D'Arrys was a feast for all the senses. Whimsical and the passion of the Osborne family is brought to life for visitors by their incredible staff who are similarly bought-in to the vision. Deep respect and admiration. A joy to visit.

Very unique place, combining wine, art paintings, sculptures made this place absolutely fabulous! Even the toilets were unlike anything else, simply beautiful!

The atmosphere is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Top wines in the McLaren Vale. Good Lunch but may be overpriced. Definitely cheaper than some of the other wineries.we enjoyed the day trip. You must visit the ground floor visual Show.
