Jose was prompt and picked us up at the hotel. He would explain everything in both Spanish and English, and remembered everyones names. Once we got to Rainbow Mountain he consistently checked in on everyone and assisted those who were suffering from altitude sickness. He pointed out the stops for the best pictures where you could avoid waiting in line. He was kind enough to take pictures and videos of the group and send them to us. Overall we had an extremely great time and would recommend it to anyone!
Jose was an amazing guide and his high energy definitely made the trip!! Would recommend.
Aníbal was an excellent guide. Very approachable, attentive, and always willing to help and resolve any questions. He made the excursion to the Rainbow Mountain much more pleasant. Highly recommended!
After booking the trip the communication with the Tour Operator was appalling. They didn’t respond to any of the messages and eventually we went the day before to find the office. We had requested as small a group tour as possible and had paid on that basis. The lady in the office gave us a leaflet and said we would be in a group a maximum of 10 and that we would get information by 5pm. A message finally arrived at 6pm with some vague instructions on pick up. The group size was nearer to 18 and the mini van was full and we were crushed in the back with no space for 8 hours. The transport was late with no communication. When we stopped for breakfast we were told we would need gloves and it would have been nice to received that information so we don’t have to pay overpriced in the venue. Rainbow mountain is worth a trip just with a different operator
We had an incredible experience today at rainbow mountain and it was thank to our amazing guide Anibal.from start to finish he was professional knowledgeable patient and genuinely caring. He make sure we are comfortable safe and enjoying every moment always adapting the pace to our need with smile.
Without a doubt a great experience, I must highlight the guide Anibal, very approachable and very concerned about the group, a great guide makes the difference between a quality tour and a bad one since he is the visible face, thank you.
A beautiful experience and our guide Jose took great care of us during the trip, he transmitted a lot of knowledge to us. A recommended experience, and if you come to Cusco, it is something you cannot miss.
This trip was so worth getting up early in morning for. I would 100% recommend this to anyone going to cusco
José was an excellent tour guide! He phones you the day before to give you all the details you need to be prepared for the activities of the tour. He assisted and gave great tips to help acclimate to the altitude at Rainbow Mountain.
