The horses are very calm and mostly just walk in a line, which is reassuring if you're a novice. The views of the surrounding hills are lovely. I just wish we could have trotted a bit more.
Everything was well-organized. They provide helmets and a thorough safety briefing before you mount. The ride was smooth, and the landscapes were absolutely gorgeous.
As an experienced rider, I am always concerned about animal welfare. At Gabriel's Ranch, the horses are in peak condition and beautifully cared for. The trail was peaceful and away from tourist crowds.
My husband and I loved doing the tour with Gabriel! He was a kind and knowledgeable guide and his horses are very gentle and well behaved. The horses are also in excellent shape and are clearly loved and well cared for. This is always a priority for us when we go on horse tours. We highly recommend taking this tour whether you’re an experienced rider or beginner.
