Grasshopper Tours A+
Went on the Curu wildlife hike then we went kayaking in the Mangrove Forest from the beachfront outpost. I can’t say enough great things about Ernesto. He was raised in the area, owns the company, has an incredible eye for wildlife, great stories, a great sense of humor and seemed to know everyone. He had delicious fresh fruit, coconuts, refreshments prepared for us between activities. The mangroves were otherworldly. Thanks Ernesto; this was a tour with a personal touch that my wife and I loved. Highly recommended.

Great experience
What a fantastic guided tour we had, led by Ernesto. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful, and absolutely great with children. Thanks to his expertise, we saw a huge amount of wildlife up close, making it a really special experience.
The logistics were seamless—we were picked up at 7:00 AM sharp in transport that was safe, clean, and comfortable. Our destination, Curú, provided a stunning setting for the day. Wildlife tour to Curu
We booked a tour to go to Curu Wildlife Refuge. Ernesto turned up very punctually and his mini van was absolutely spotlessly clean. Very safe driver. When we arrived at Curu, his knowledge was very impressive. How he spotted the wild life was nothing short of amazing. He knew exactly where the wildlife would be. He carried a telescope with him so that we could see everything perfectly. We saw so much. He supplied us with water and when the tour was complete, he provided us with cold drinks and freshly prepared fruits. Ernesto’s passion and knowledge was a joy. We would highly recommend and encourage anyone to book with Grasshopper Tours.

1 of 2 great tours (also an additional airport transfer) we did with Ernesto. He was recommended by our hotel, and I can see why. His local knowledge, experience, and friendly approach made for a great experience for us. The tour was un-rushed, we saw a wide range of flora and fauna, and Ernesto taught us about all of it. The fruit and drinks at the end were the perfect finish. Pickup and dropoff were easy and prompt, and overall well worth the cost, especially with his keen eye and experience.

Exceeded All Expectations - MUST DO.
Ernesto is by far an amazing guide, person, husband, and father. This is no paid add, I had so much fun I tipped him $100. He’s the kind of guide that genuinely loves what he does. I took my wife on this jungle tour because she wanted to go. I came for the surf. I was blown away. I’ve surfed in many places, but the jungle tour might’ve been better than the surfing. He made it so fun. We saw animals I’ve never seen. Red and colored Mecals. We even chirped at Monkeys that were above us in the trees. I don’t even like animals to be honest, but Ernesto kept us moving and blew my expectations out of the water.

Fun honeymoon tour !
We had a great time and saw many animals from monkeys, macaws, ant eater, etc it was a lot of fun and definitely worth it for our honeymoon. Ernesto is a great guide and provided yummy snacks for us during break! Really appreciated that !

Wonderful experience!
A wonderful experience! The environment and wildlife were magical, and Ernesto was a fantastic guide! He is incredibly knowledgeable about the natural environment and had many fascinating facts to share. He is an expert at spotting hidden wildlife and interesting flora, and made sure to point them out so we could see them too. A personal touch to discovering biodiversity in Curu Wildlife Refuge
Ernesto was an amazing guide through Curu Wildlife Refuge. He spotted so many animals for us; I'm sure we would have only seen 1/5 as many on our own. He was also kind and engaging with my 11-year-old. Highly recommended!
