We had the most amazing day exploring Istanbul sampling delicious local foods & learning about Turkish culture & traditions with our fabulous guide Gonca. She was an amazing storyteller sharing her insightful knowledge on the people & places we visited. It was so memorable & definitely a highlight of our time in Istanbul.

A wonderful tour with our guide Gonca, who really knows her neighbourhood and the people in it. She took us into the backstreets to meet the local chefs and artisans doing the real work—no tourist gloss, just genuine food culture. We had a wonderful tour with Katerina who showed us amazing, family owned spots we never would have found on our own. The tour was entertaining for our kids as well (7 and 9 year old boys). We tried so many different things! Though the tour was of the grand bazaar quarter, we spent very little time in the bazaar itself- mostly just as a path to get somewhere else. Which was very much appreciated.
