We had an amazing time!! Jan was so knowledgeable, funny & great at sharing interesting facts about sites as we passed them. He made it a trip to remember very fondly. I would definitely recommend it.
Very intimate with the small group...the tour was very informative and the gentleman was professional and funny ...would recommend to anyone who wanted more of private tour but not pricey.
This was lovely tour with drinks the only problem I have was finding where the boat left from If you do not have google no one knew where to catch it from No signs and even shop keepers in the area did not know We were sent from one end of the canal to the other and thenback again The only way we found out where itwas leaving from was from others that we finally met that were waiting
We absolutely loved this!! It was honestly such a brilliant way to see Amsterdam, and although it was quite expensive 🤣, it was definitely worth it!! Our captain was absolutely great — really funny, friendly and sociable, and he made the whole experience so much fun. I also loved that it didn’t really feel like a proper “tour” at all. It was much more relaxed and social, almost like you were just going for a boat ride around Amsterdam with someone who happened to know loads of interesting things about the city 🤣. It was still really interesting though, and we learnt loads along the way! And as there were only about 8 of us on the whole boat, the whole thing just had such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The experience was only around 2 hours as well, which was the perfect amount of time to see lots of Amsterdam without it feeling too long or tiring. I’d also definitely recommend booking a slightly later time, around the start of the evening! We found it was much quieter and everything just felt a lot more relaxed and less rushed, which made the whole experience even nicer. As an autistic person, I found it really autism-friendly too as It was calm, relaxed and never felt overwhelming, which I really appreciated 🙂! Seeing Amsterdam from the canals was absolutely brilliant. We had such a great time and I’m SO glad we did it!! Certainly one of my favourite things we did in Amsterdam, and I’d 100% recommend it — I’d definitely do it again too!! 🚤🇳🇱😊

Stang did a great job taking us through the canal system and making sure we had enough beverages. Not a lot of running commentary as in a typical tour but he answered all yhe questions we asked. Would do it again. Very relaxing boat ride.
The canal ride with Roman was awesome and one of the highlights of the trip to Amsterdam. His knowledge of the city and his funny approach was a blast.

Couldn't recommend this more. The boat tour was amazing and Captain Dave even more so. It was thoroughly enjoyable and very fun. Captain Dave made it very special and memorable. He made it a very unique way of experiencing Amsterdam, getting the interesting 'tourist' history but also anecdotes and insights into what things are like for someone who is living and grown up in Amsterdam. Dave was also kind enough to provide recommendations for places to eat and see. It was the highlight of our trip. Dave was very personable and tailored the entire trip to the group on boat. There was also coffee, cold drinks and sugar cake provided. If you're looking for a canal tour but unsure which tour to go with or whether this would be something you would enjoy I would highly recommend as I don't think you would get this kind of experience and view of Amsterdam anywhere else.
