I loved this experience! For my part, discovery of zellige mosaic. Mohamed is really very nice and passionate, and explains the history and technique of this art well! It was a really nice moment of creativity, culture, and learning... and it allows you to bring back an original souvenir from Tangier!
This was such a fun experience! Mohamed taught me (I came alone) about the history of zellige tiles and how they are made through the country. I got to try cutting my own pieces of the tile as well. I also had fun learning about how to pour tea, AND got a Moroccan name which was adorable. I got to take time to create my tile, and he helped me through each step. 10/10 would recommend this for a low key couple of hours with a hands on take home item
Had an incredible experience from start to finish! Mohammed was so generous and shared his genuine passion for art (without forgetting about the Moroccan tea 😅). Highly recommend this to anyone looking to try something new and learn all about the beautiful craft of Zellige!

A fun way to learn about zelige by making one. You come away with your own creation. Nice to learn about the culture instead of just looking at it. It really helps you appreciate the skills and effort involved when you look at zelige from now on.

Definitely do this if: - you like jigsaw puzzles and/or lego - you have a good memory - you have lots of patience I have none of those traits but loved every minute of it. I only wish I also had the insanity within me to learn and create the miniscule and intriciate pieces which are graciously provided for this workshop. In all seriousness, great studio, great laid back teacher, good vibes all around.

Great experience! I loved the atmosphere and we escape for 3 hours, it is really great... our host was lovely, attentive, happy to meet and share, and he had reserved some very good Moroccan pastries for us!! Gazelle horns on the cake :-) I especially recommend it if the weather is not great!
