Highly recommended history lesson
A fantastic couple of hours spent listening to Colm (Paddy was ill) give an excellent insight into Ireland’s history. Colm was extremely knowledgeable and his passion and love for the stories he was telling was obvious to see.
Colm was extremely personable and friendly and it was a lovely setting in the basement of the Turks Head. An excellent way to spend a few hours in Dublin if you want to know more about Ireland’s history, especially if the weather is bad and you don’t want to go walking around on a walking tour. Can’t recommend enough, especially for British people as we’re not taught this stuff in school.

Fun and fascinating.
A brilliant and fun experience. We went on the first day of our Ireland trip for my mum’s 70th, it was really informative without being overwhelming. Paddy and Colm are very passionate about Irish history and very knowledgeable. It was listed as 2 hours but in typical Irish fashion the conversation overran a touch! It gave great perspective to the rest of the trip and I would recommend to anyone interested in Irish history or just wanting to learn a bit before they start or finish their trip
