Cozumel: Private Excursion - MiniVan or Jeep (Your Day, Your Way)

Irvin was excellent. A good driver knowing where to go and what to do. He took us to several places and set up private tours. He's the best.

We had the best day with our tour guide Irving! He was a wealth of knowledge of the island, culture, and people. He listened to our interests and curated a perfect experience. We floated through a cenote, drove to a remote beach, and enjoyed the best local food and drink (with bonus beach puppies!) Irving made the trip extra special just by being himself and sharing his world with us. We are grateful for the experience and would do it again in a heartbeat! Communication and directions were smooth and easy, all around great tour!

Our tour with Visit Cozumel was the best! Our 9 ladies were treated to a customized day just for us. Our driver, Jesus, and tour guide, Aldair, took us to picture spots, Tierra Maya cultural center, KaoKao chocolate factory, shopping, and an amazing beachside restaurant. Some of us have been to Cozumel many times, but this was the very best tour!! Highly recommend!

We booked a private tour where we tried honey, made chocolate, tried tequila and other local liquors, made salsa and made tortillas. It was an AMAZING experience. Gabby and Roberto were so welcoming and not only explained everything clearly not answered all our questions patiently. Not only do I highly recommend but I am figuring out how I can come back to visit them again soon. Wonderful retreat for us on our cruise stop. Irving was out driver and was very friendly and accommodating.

Ricky, our driver was great. He met us with a sign so we knew he was looking for us. He asked what we wanted to do and tailored our tour to us.

Aldair was our guide and Jesus (Chewie) our driver. They gave clear directions for pick up and the minivan was perfect with cool bottled water whenever we wanted it. They talked us through the ticket process at the Mayan ruins and prepared us for the upsell. Then we went for the honey and cocoa experience which was great fun (and delicious). Due to inclement weather we didn’t stop on the wild east coast of the island but our guides kept us entertained with lots of interesting information about the island throughout the trip. I’d thoroughly recommend them.

Our driver Angelo was such a great tour guide and took us all around Cozumel showing us cenotes, beautiful beaches, great bars and even downtown. He made our day super special and he has such a great personality. Would love to use him again when coming back to Cozumel.

This private tour was a relaxing and easy way to tour Cozumel during our limited time on shore from our cruise ship. Our guide, Aldair, was on time, super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. We discussed a plan prior to heading out and we enjoyed our time looking for adventure around the Island. We stopped at a local resort and enjoyed the beach, Taquella tasting, and the wildlife. We visited a couple of local markets and enjoyed interacting with vendors to get good deals and support the local economy. We would recommend this excursion to those looking to make their own memorable day in Cozumel.
