The whole experience was excellent. The architecture and history are incredible. Our tour guide Tiger is very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you very much.
Driver and tour guide were top notch, Oxford was spectacular, time spent in each location was perfect
Excellent tour. Started and ended on time (7:30-17:30). My guide (Jen) and driver (Rowan) were excellent. The bus is comfortable and air conditioned. Jen gives you lots of interesting facts and a free 45 walking tour through Oxford which I enjoyed immensely. She will also help you take photos of yourself if you are a soloist. You may leave your things on the coach between stops. There are plenty of places to eat : As you embark at Gloucester Rd - Pret, Tesco and more are open for early morning coffee and pastries. There are coffee and cake outlets at every stop and Oxford has every chain restaurant and independent food outlet that you can imagine including the covered market with multiple food stalls. I ate a packed lunch in the grounds of Christ Church college, Oxford. The coach parks a 10 minute walk away from the Burton-on-water village so wear comfy footwear. Oxford itself has cobblestones - so again watch the footsteps. There were plenty of toilets on the tour- 20p cash needed for the public toilet in Burford. Its 50p card or cash in for the public toilet Burton-O-W. There's also a toilet in the B-O-W model village- cute attraction and less than £5 entry. In Oxford there are toilets at the Covered market , Town hall and Pret and other places. My person highlight was learning the guide's little facts, meeting other solo travellers, the Oxford walking tour, the free gin samples at the B-O-W distillery and spending time choosing perfume in the B-O-W perfumery. Highly reccommend.
There is alot of walking, so comfortable shoes are a must. These villages are peoples actual homes so please be respectful of the locals while visiting, but the beauty of the Costwalds is something you cant miss.
Some distances to walk. Would have loved to see some thatched houses. Oxford was great, more time would have been great, but only so many hours in a day
It was a great deal to visit the Cotswolds and Oxford in a day.
This was a very enjoyable tour. Our guide, Tiger, was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with! We had enough time at each stop and didn’t feel rushed. I would definitely recommend this tour to get a small taste of the Cotswolds and Oxford.
The tour guide and driver were very professional. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and her explanation is very easy to understand and interesting. The experience has been a pleasant one
There is a fair amount of driving time to get to the beautiful Cotswold villages and Oxford, but well worth it. Rob, the driver, expertly got us there. The tour guide, Tiger, kept us well informed and shared a lot of history and interesting information and pointed out things to see.
Our guide, Lucy, was very informative. I would definitely take another tour with her. The driver of the coach promptly delivered us to where we needed to go. The whole tour ran smoothly.
