Every single stop felt special. Instead of tiny samples, we were treated to incredibly generous, chef-driven pairings—everything from savory, authentic regional appetizers to exquisite desserts, each perfectly matched with fantastic wines. It easily replaced a full meal (and then some!), making it well worth every penny. What truly elevated this experience from a great food tour to an unforgettable one, however, was our phenomenal guide, Kirsten. Her passion for St. Augustine’s rich history and modern culinary scene was utterly infectious. She was highly knowledgeable, engaging, and had a brilliant sense of humor. Between stops, she shared fascinating historical narratives about how different global cultures shaped the flavors of the nation's oldest city, seamlessly weaving storytelling with our walking route. Government House Museum
Government House dominates the west end of the Town Plaza, a unique Spanish land use component lying within a National Historic Landmark District. Along coasts, plazas were to begin at the waterfront - to see and to be seen. Since 1598, a government building has stood on this site with a view of the harbor landing, accommodating administrative headquarters and residences of colonial governors appointed by the Crowns of Spain, then Britain, then Spain again. After Spain ceded Florida to the United States in 1821, this current Government House served as a courthouse and briefly as a Capitol of the new Territory of Florida.

Amazing Food/Wine Tour
If I could give this tour more than 5 stars, I would. Katie (Tour guide) was an exceptional guide whose warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for the entire outing. The food was so delicious, and the wine tasting exceeded all of our expectations, the pairings were perfectly curated. Katie’s energy, local knowledge, and attentiveness made this the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!

we typically do a food tour on every vacation (multiple/year) and this may be the best one we have ever done. our guide judi was really exceptional. she was so friendly and thoughtful. we tried places and things we would not have otherwise. it was a good value in terms of quantity of food and drink and well-paced so we could actually enjoy it.

Fun tour with unique restaurants!

Short on Wine
Disappointed in one of the food stops. It was a waffle covered in apple pie filling. I didn’t feel like it was a wine/food pairing tour. Over priced for the amount of food and wine served.
