Originally built by the Byzantines in the 6th century, the fortress underwent significant transformations under the rule of the Venetians from the 14th to the 18th century. The imposing structure we see today showcases a unique blend of Byzantine, Venetian, and British influences. The Old Fortress has played a pivotal role in protecting Corfu from numerous invasions, with its towering walls, moats, and strategic vantage points that offer breathtaking panoramic views of the island and the sparkling Ionian Sea.
The Old Fortress is not only a captivating historical attraction but also a thriving cultural hub. It regularly hosts art exhibitions, concerts, and other events within its enchanting premises, making it an essential stop for anyone visiting Corfu.
Take a step back in time and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of the Old Fortress. You'll leave with a deeper appreciation for Corfu's heritage and unforgettable memories of your journey through the island's past.

Embrace the tranquil beauty of Garitsa Bay, a picturesque gem nestled along the southeastern coast of Corfu, just a short stroll from Corfu Town. This charming bay boasts an idyllic setting with its crescent-shaped shoreline, crystal-clear waters, and stunning views of the Old Fortress and the lush hills beyond.
Garitsa Bay is the perfect destination for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of Corfu Town. Its inviting azure waters beckon you to take a dip, while the gentle sea breeze and swaying palm trees create a soothing atmosphere for leisurely strolls or sunbathing on the pebbled beach. The bay's calm waters also make it an ideal spot for paddleboarding, kayaking, or simply floating on the gentle waves.
As the sun begins to set, the bay transforms into a magical canvas of warm hues, offering a romantic backdrop for evening walks or intimate dinners by the water's edge.

Mon Repos Palace is a symbol of Corfu's rich heritage and a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
Constructed in 1828 by British Commissioner Sir Frederick Adam as a gift for his Corfiot wife, Mon Repos Palace elegantly combines British, Greek, and Ionian architectural influences. The palace later served as a summer residence for the Greek royal family and even became the birthplace of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Today, Mon Repos houses a fascinating museum that showcases an extensive collection of artifacts, ranging from prehistoric relics to Roman mosaics and sculptures unearthed from the ancient city of Paleopolis.
Beyond the palace walls lies the enchanting Mon Repos Park, a lush oasis that stretches over 250 acres. The park offers sweeping views of the Ionian Sea, providing a serene setting for picnics or quiet moments of reflection.
Pass by
Mouse Island, or "Pontikonisi" in Greek, a tiny, verdant islet nestled in the crystal-clear waters of Corfu. Steeped in myth and natural beauty, this picturesque destination has captured the hearts and imaginations of locals and visitors alike for centuries.
According to local legend, Mouse Island was formed when the ship of the ancient Greek hero Odysseus was turned to stone by the god Poseidon. Today, the island's lush greenery and rocky coastline create a breathtaking scene that has become an iconic symbol of Corfu.
At the heart of Mouse Island lies the Byzantine-era church of Pantokrator, dating back to the 11th or 12th century. This charming whitewashed chapel, adorned with a red-tiled roof and surrounded by cypress trees, offers a serene retreat for prayer and reflection. During the annual feast of Pantokrator in August, the church becomes the center of a vibrant celebration, with locals and tourists flocking to the island by boat to partake in the festivities.

A great sunset cruise.
This was a great experience, as a family we always look for unique and special activities.
This is one of them. Whilst the price may seem high or more expensive than others, it is a great night and well worth the price.
What is better than a few hours watching the sunset over Corfu with a drink and some light bites (wraps when we were there).
The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the team was enthusiastic in explaining some history or some culture of Corfu.
Highly recommend!!

Sunset boat ride
This was romantic but you certainly don’t need to be a couple to enjoy. It was a really nice wooden boat just like the description says with a friendly crew. You get one cocktail as part of your ticket and some tasty wraps, and you can buy more cocktails as you wish. I recommend this for the way everything turns sepia-toned and the way it feels like the world stops. It was dramatic passing so close by the fortress. We had easy-going guests too with us which is a major plus.

Must do experience
Nice to enjoy the sunset in the sea with family and a glass of drink. Vey soothing experience. Very friendly crew. Nibbles was so tasty, the plate was empty in no time. They also help get me cake with Candles to celebrate my Birthday on board and brought it right at sunset to capture it the perfect moment.

Absolutely beautiful sunset cruise!
We set off from Corfu on the beautiful boat, and was greeted with a nice cup of ice cold water, the staff were really respectful and guided us on where we were. A cocktail was offered for the sunset hour, and we anchored near Kanoni, we watched the sun set whilst doing some plane spotting! It was stunning. We were offered some wraps, some vegetarian some fish and some meat. I did not try these because we had already eaten. But they looked ok. Maybe the pricing is a bit high for this trip maybe a couple more snacks and drinks could be offered in the price. But it was definitely worth it and highly recommend!! Please don’t miss out ❤️🏖️

A chilled and peaceful Truman Show bobbing about
Guys on board are just so polite, cool, calm and decent - lovely level of interest in you. Brief welcome to explain the most important timing of when you get your drink then really leave you to it but are about of you need anything. Such a chilled wee ride. Was with sister and daughter and got the best, relaxed photos of them just in a wee world of their own. Well worth it.

Sunset Cruise on a wooden vessel
An evening cruise on a wooden boat stopping near the airport to watch the sunset (Not quite over the horizon). There is a couple of signature cocktails to choose from as well as other alcohol and soft drinks (One per person). Food was a tortilla wrap each with a selection of meat or vegetable filings and quite tasty. Friendly crew and helpful with any questions or taking photos.
