Itinerary
Stop 1: Achilleion Palace (included in both Half Day & Full Day options) Your day kicks off with a visit to the impressive, neoclassical Achillion Palace, built in the 19th century as a summer retreat for Empress Elizabeth of Austria, also known as Princess Sissi! Once inside the Palace, get a glimpse of the fascinating story of the ''Sad Empress”, as you have the chance to witness her personal belongings along with a rich variety of artworks. Take a walk through the fabulous gardens and marvel at the fascinating statues of Greek historical figures, including Achilles - the hero of Greek mythology after whom the Palace was named!
Stop 2: Kanoni (included ONLY in Half Day option) Enjoy one of Corfu’s most iconic viewpoints. Take photos of Mouse Island (Pontikonisi) and watch planes landing just above your head — a unique and memorable experience.
Stop 2: Paleokastritsa (included ONLY in Full Day option) Your tour continues with a visit to the world-famous Paleokastritsa, inarguably one of the must-see attractions of Corfu! Soak up the unique natural beauty and admire the spectacular views to the countless little bays. It’s said that it is at one of these bays that Odysseus (Homer’s fascinating hero) was washed ashore and met Nausicaa for the first time. Take time to enjoy the breathtaking views from the hilltop 13th-century Monastery of Virgin Mary, opt to take a boat trip to explore the famous caves of the area (extra cost) or swim in the crystal-clear, emerald waters of Paleokastritsa!

Walk along the maze of narrow streets, marvel at the distinctive Venetian architecture and take time to visit its most significant landmarks including the beautiful church of St. Spyridon, the imposing Old Fortress and the Palace of St. Michael and St. George. Wandering around this charming Town, you will also get the chance to spot some of the locations where the popular TV series "The Durrells in Corfu" was recently filmed. Pause to enjoy a coffee in the famous French-designed Liston, sample the local cuisine in one of the traditional tavernas or enjoy shopping in the countless souvenir shops! Perfect half day excursion to see beautiful Corfu! We had never been to Corfu and were pleasantly surprised how beautiful it was from start to finish. Highly recommend the optional boat tour! Our guide was fantastic and our driver knew all the ways around the crush of people. It was the perfect mix of history, the natural beauty of Greece, shopping etc. Exceeded our expectations and cant wait to be back!
Driver was not a guide, he answered all questions but never gave any information o n his own. You would have had to pay extra for a guide. All other tours drivers were also the guide.
Great day in Corfu. Half day private tour seeing old town and the caves. Great communication from agency throughout. When our cruise ship was docking late they proactively reached out to make me aware (before yachts crew did!) and changed my timing. Perfect tour operator.
Stefanos was a great tour guide! The private van was by far the nicest (and had the best air conditioning) of all of the tours we did on our vacation. There was plenty of room for our group of seven! Communication was great (through What'sApp). We visited the Paleokastritsa hilltop monestary, did the Cave tour (which honestly, we were not impressed ), visited a beach club and finished in Corfu town. The beach club that was recommended was perfect (although the sand was HOT!!) and Stefanos was able to arrange great lounge chairs for us. Stefanos gave great recommendations for restaurants and shops in town. Highly recommend this tour!!
This is a must experience for anybody going to Corfu. Giannis, our driver, was the best ever and we couldn’t be happier. He went above and beyond at every stop making sure we never waited in line and to point us in the right direction every step of the way. He made us feel very comfortable and made sure we saw all the major sites in Corfu. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend this tour company and Gianni's the next time you are in Corfu!
This was the best tour experience that we have had in all our travels. YIANNIS, our driver went above and beyond every minute of the trip for us and even made sure we were moved to the front of the line at every excursion. My family loved him. He was the best and we would highly recommend this tour company and driver the next time anybody visits Corfu. Yiannis, a huge thank you for everything. You were amazing!
Our guide was Fantastic! She gave us history and fun, all in one! I highly suggest doing the add on boat ride to the Grottos, it was an highlight of our trip.
What a wonderful excursion. Our guide, Maria, was wonderful. She spoke great English and brought us to all of the major points that were outlined in the description. Pickup from the ship was so easy and there was great communication before the trip to make sure we knew exactly where to go to meet them. It's important to download WhatsApp before you go because that is a major communication piece needed while on land. Beforehand just pay attention to the Viator messages from the tour operator. This excursion was relaxed and well thought out. We visited a private monestary where 2 monks live. Their view everyday is breathtaking. They provide shawls when you enter if you are exposing your shoulders so no worries there. The church itself was beautiful. The best part was taking a private tour as opposed with going with many people on a bus. This tour was tailored to our group alone. Our guide was able to tell us about the history of everything and with our small group of 8 it was easy to hear her and follow along. We also were able to decide if we wanted the optional cave boat tour or just head straight to shopping. In a large group you would have to go with what the majority wanted. We chose the boat trip which was 15 euros extra but well worth it. It's an experience not to be missed. Our guide brought us right to the boats, got a boat for us and was waiting for us when we returned. We felt like royalty. They also guaranteed us an ontime return to the ship and they did not disappoint. This company was top notch. We tipped the driver 10% of the total cost of the trip and 5% to the driver which they truly appreciated. I would say that this trip was well worth it and definitely take the private tour if you have at least 6 in your group.
We absolutely loved our tour guide Anna. We had an English tour for our extended family of 10pp but she also does tours in Italian and French (her English was perfect and easy to understand). What we loved most was how customizable our private tour was - we decided the day before we wanted to take a swimming break and they accommodated us. It was also nice to learn so much about Greece and Corfu during our comfortable minibus ride from the old town to the beach. She suggested a different beach for us than what is listed because we have children with us - so we went to Glyfada beach which is sand vs pebble and more shallow. It was also nice to have her walk through old town with us - I think the extra 200 euros if you can afford it- is worth it for the experience.
Maria was a fantastic host - very knowledgable and very accomodating for our group of 6. Great way to see much of the island in 1 day!
