Corfu Countryside Hiking Tour

This was a great experience and we really enjoyed a simple hike in a place we would not have gone to on our own. George was a lovely person and so kind with information about local flora fauna and history. It was nice to walk through the olive groves and visit the monks cave and the monastery. Georgia picked us up from the just outside Corfu and George dropped us back there, so it was all very easy. We walked with a Lovley German couple. I am sure George alters the pace depending on who is walking with him. We thought he did an excellent job and we enjoyed looking at the interesting things he pointed out as we passed. A great way to learn more about the history of Corfu and the physical structure of the island. Georgia and Georgios were great at staying in touch in the lead up to the excursion, and we felt it was planned and secured much better than most. Georgios was our guide for the day, he was very friendly and made us feel like we had known him forever. It truly felt like hiking with a friend. We learnt so much that we wouldn’t have without this trip and the added little extra of the wild fruit picking was something we didn’t expect. Overall a wonderful day and will be an experience that sticks with us forever. Thank you so much Geo!!

Wonderful day hiking with George! We set up the experience last minute and he was timely in communicating to answer questions and coordinate pick up. He was very kind to pick us up at the cruise port and even pack snacks and drinks for the day. He was knowledgeable about the area and pointed out many things of interest along the trail. The trail offered great views of the island and ocean, it was a little overgrown in parts and of moderate difficulty.

Challenging walk for seniors - but our guide George safely led us at a pace we could do - much appreciated. The cafe we visited was welcoming with great iced Cappuccino.

And wonderful hike in a beautiful hill in Corfu. Great advice from the organisers before the hike about what to bring and how to take public transport. Was picked up on time and a very relaxing 9km hike in beautiful surroundings and butterflies all around 🦋. Couldn't recommend a better way to see Corfu from another angle 😀

What a fabulous way to experience Corfu’s beautiful countryside, traditional villages, tiny chapels and cobblestone alleys! George created a personalized hiking tour for our group of four while Georgia facilitated a very informative “Off the Beaten Track” walking tour through Old Town Corfu. We felt comfortable with George and Georgia and were impressed by their genuine welcoming personalities and cultural knowledge. Being able to interact with them helped us to truly experience the authentic side of Corfu. Their flexibility and willingness to customize tours is very rare. Our stops for coffee, surprise birthday walnut pie celebration and snacks in the not-so-easy-to-find local villages made our vacation extra special. If we could give the Geo Bicycling and More shop 10 stars, we would!

We contacted them through Airbnb and had a great experience! Communication was great, pick up was very close to where we were staying. We wanted to hike and George managed to arrange a trip for my daughter and I, even though one was not booked. The hike took in some older roads/tracks, footpaths, an old village, time for a cafe stop and buying local olive wood products. It was never a dull moment, with lots of fascinating chat and facts about everything in Corfu. Very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions - we even got to try wild figs, walnuts and cactus fruit. We never felt rushed and the price was very reasonable. We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it to others!!

Communication was great, booked by email, clear and concise information for pick up, this was on time, and then another pick up and walk in to the hills behind Benitses. I’m never great with hills at the start but the pace was relaxed and no pressure. Hot morning, but regular stops for water which we were given at the start, then a halfway stop for a delicious snack supplied by George our guide, that was unexpected, a lovely way to end my holiday along with the snippets of information George gave us along the way. Thank you.

Spending 4 days in Kanoni with my youngest son, 21 years, I wanted to do a walk knowing there was trails inside the island. Reading the reviews, I decided to book this Walk with no regrets. Booked for a Sunday morning, got picked up at Kanoni, driven to the start of the walk inside the island picking up the other 5 people in the group. A small group which was great, and off we went. My concern was it being too strenuous, so whilst I knew I had done the walk, it was within my ability. I’m 55. Saw nature and stopped off in a village for a stop, drink, and a cookie. Well done to GEO, and thanks for the drop off in Corfu Town after.

George was our guide on a beautiful, at times challenging and captivating journey through all kinds of terrain. George was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. Special thanks George for waiting for me in Corfu when I got lost on the maze of streets. You're the best!!!
